Why in this day and age do so many doubt what they know
To know that if you touch a flame, you will feel the pain
To know that if you were to say "You are nuts" to someone
They look at you funny and laugh
What makes us so confident, so sure that we are invincible
With every action there is consiquences to account for
It pains me to see so many do things
That would cause great harm to themselves and others around them
My heart gose out to those that think these foolish thoughts
For it does not take a rocket scientist to know wrong
But it takes an innocent child to speak truth to those that are blind to it
To open the eyes of the aged and close minded
Funny how life is, it always seems to show you the truth
In things we might not either wise see in our daily lives
BUt somehow always presents its self at the most awkward times
