Lost In Eternity

Am I the light
or am I the Darkness
Do you fear me
or do you befriend me
Someone please tell me
I want to know
Why I feel so lost
In this sea of people
Why I feel so alone
So close to so many
yet so distant from anyone
What is this that sets me apart
a single rock in the river of time
Around me things change
yet inside I am the same
So far from everything
so close to the empty dark
I feel soon my light will fade
I will enter the Darkness deep
To lay for all eternity
watching time pass
As I wonder for the answer
I will never find
Am I the light
or am I the darkness?
