Turns out Balthier/Basch=smut, although I still don't prefer the pairing.
They are in FFXII. I tried to explain it to Cat, but I don't think she was paying attention. Basch is the long lost traitor of the country who isn't really a traitor because he was set up by his twin brother and anyway, he was locked up for a couple of years and then you save him even though Vaan hates him because he thinks he killed his brother even though he really didn't it was his twin. And Balthier is a sky pirate.
And I'm not showing off the kimono. *flexes*
