Walmart, Christianity, Ouija Boards, and Pregnant Barbie |

Alright, so there's this new Walmart that has just opened near my house, and one of my aunts took a part-time job over there. Well, this past Friday, they had a special opening for the Walmart employees and their families, so she asked if my mom, brother, and I would like to come (my mom is a BIG Walmart freak!). I came because I pretty much had nothing to do, and I wanted to get out of the house.
While I was there, I saw something VERY interesting -- a Ouija board!!! This is the board that is used call spirits and ghosts and and have them move the pointer around to answer questions. I even have the definition for it:
Ouija board >noun: trademark a board with letters, numbers, and other signs around its edge, to which a pointer moves, supposedly in answer to questions at a seance. -ORIGIN from French oui 'yes' + German ja 'yes'.
Another thing: once you have called a spirit with the board and you get it in your house, you pretty much can't get the spirit out. However, never EVER burn the board, for the Ouija is the ONLY way you can send the spirit back. (And yet, people STILL play with it?!)
Now I'm sure a few of you can remember the Barbie dolls that were pregnant; she came with a stomach that you could take on and off with the baby inside. Walmart BANNED this doll from their store, but later sold the doll without her stomach on display. Now, you can't find the doll anywhere in the store. The reason for this is not because she was pregnant, but because she did not wear a wedding ring on her finger.
What I'm saying is that Walmart thinks it's okay to sell a Ouija board, but it's not okay to sell a pregnant Barbie doll.
Let me run that by you again: Walmart thinks it's okay to sell something to kids that can call spirits/ghosts/DEMONS, but they don't think it's okay to sell something to kids that gives them the idea that PREMARITAL SEX is okay.
This is BULL CRAP!!! I don't know about you, but I would much rather have premarital sex and get pregnant than to call something into my house that has the ability (if not the potential) to KILL me. There is a reason why I think this happened. Allow me to explain . . .
The one and most likely reason is the churches that surround the Walmarts in the area where I live. (I have about three to four Walmarts in my location.) They are either racist or they stick their nose up at you just because you're wearing a Fall Out Boy hoodie instead of the dress you got on your birthday from the Reverend/Pastor/Preacher. The reason I said racist was because these Walmarts are located around the "Hood". This issue really PISSES me off to no end!!! The sad thing is that there are "Christians" like that!
This is why I don't believe in Christianity any more; they claim they love others, but they cause problems, just like the situation at my school. Othertimes, they beat, curse, or even KILL others for:
1) Not believing in their God. 2) Being a homosexual. 3) Being of a different race. 4) Not going to church, even though they believe in the Christian God.
