What would the soundtrack of your life be? Add any reasons or notes you see fit.
This was really kind of difficult confused I left out so many titles (like the theme to Mortal Kombat and Davy Crockett, can you believe it?) Any others? Feel free to put them in the comments, or tell me, or sky write them, or something =P
> Main Title/Rebel Blockade Runner - Star Wars by John Williams From the first blast of the horns you are sucked into the galaxy far far away, especially if you are 5 years old. I've never recovered. The music still takes me away to a world of smart-mouth princesses and heroic farm boys.
> Closer to the Heart - A Farewell To Kings by: Rush When there is limited parking on campus (and you don't have a car anyways), you make friends with people who have close parking permits, like your RA, so when you need to go to the grocery store, he might drive you. And on these drives you might discover that he and one of your best friends are huge Rush fans, and that you're pretty much going to be listing to them on most of these late night trips. And that you might end up liking them too.
> A Murder of One - August and Everything After by: Counting Crows A hall mate in college said they were poets and she was so right. Part nursery rhyme, part poem (and what is a nursery rhyme if not a poem?) I'm still haunted by the line 'I walk along these hillsides in the summer 'neath the sunshine I am feathered by the moonlight'
> Head Like a Hole - Pretty Hate Machine By: NIN When my ex broke up with me this was the song of choice to listen to ...over and over and over again =P
> Fruits & Vegetables - Brand New Knife By: Shonen Knife Such a cute, peppy girl group! A friend suggested I go with her to their concert. They were so nice and the crowd went wild with each of their songs. Whenever I feel down, I know I could rely on them to pep me up with one of their weird, happy songs.
> There She Goes - So I Married and Axe Murderer Our 'house' movie. What should we watch? This movie! What song is played about 10 billion times in this movie? There She Goes! We all may have gone separate ways now, but whenever any of us hears this song on the radio, we all think of each other.
> Yakusoku wa Iranai - Escaflowne, Over the Sky Soundtrack Anime Village made a small mistake on the episode numbers on the labels of the VHS box sets. No affect to the quality, I didn't even notice. But they decided to make it up to anyone who purchased their box sets by sending off replacement tapes. Stickers would have been about 1,000 times easier, but I didn't complain as I took my 'defective' tape to work and played it every morning I opened, singing like a fool as the song echoed down the halls of the mall.
> Under the Boardwalk - Under the Boardwalk By: The Drifters You'll never guess where I ended up working after I got out of college wink That's right, the Boardwalk (there wasn't really much under it besides maintenance and the beer cages though). Guess where I met my husband? oooh! Too easy! I bet I don't even have to tell you why this song is here!
> Mamboleo - Mamboleo By: Elissa Oh how I love this song! Ever since I saw the AMV that featured this song it's been one of my favorites! Bouncy happy, cheerful with a great beat, it was the ringtone for me on my friends phone (until it broke, but we don't talk about that)
