CAN I?
Can I regret
A simple thing
That happens everyday?
A little thing
A tiny thing
That happens anyway?
Can I forgive
One who has done
Absolutley nothing wrong?
Can I forgive
Myself
If the me I know is gone?
Can I believe
In something small
Almost non-existing?
Can I be taken away
And still hold on
Without even resisting?
Can I be found
If I am lost
And simply fading away?
If I have
Nothing to give
Can I only pray?
Can I still love
In this world
That thrives on hatred and war?
Can I be loved
If everyone I see
Loves only blood and gore?
Can I be strong
And fight this "war"
Without a single tear?
And give a gift
So strong
It could bring only cheer?
