just a Random...thingy
Bits and pieces of the randomness that is me^^ ...Have you ever noticed that there's three five sylabol words in the english language that mean the same thing? thingamerjiger, Whatchamawhosit, and Whatchamacallit...confusing ain't it?
Beginning of a new story
A young looking girl, seemingly the age of seventeen was sitting on a rock before a vast lake with crystal clear water. She was playing with a strand of her black hair that shined in the sun, you walked a little closer to her only to notice that there was silver streaks in her hair. I also noticed that she was wearing a long black half skirt that had a couple rips in it and I couldn’t see her top half yet so I walked even closer to her. I stepped on a stray branch and it snapped in half creating a noise that made the girl turn around, now I could see her top and you noticed that it was a tight shinning black material with one ripped sleeve hanging over her left hand and the right sleeve was still attached, she gasped as she saw I and got up quickly. She was wearing shorts under the half skirt, which it took I a while to notice but you couldn’t help but study what she looked like, “Hello,” I whispered taking a step towards her my hand outstretched feeling as if I needed to touch her to make sure she was real.
“H…hi,” she whispered not knowing what to think or do she was frozen staring at my outstretched hand. A light breeze blew her hair away from her right ear and I noticed that it was pierced in three places, one in her cartilage which was a silver hoop, and the other two were on her earlobes and the bottom one was another silver hoop with black lines criss-crossing around it, and the middle earring being a gold hoop.
“Wh…what are you?” I asked taking another step towards her, the need to touch her overwhelming I. “Are you an angel…or another one of those…beings that I’ve heard of?” Something sparked inside my heart making me feel as if somehow I once knew her and was connected to her.
She sat back down and sighed, “I’m the goddess Achiago, not that you’ve ever heard of me.” The breeze stopped and I finally walked over to her and then I sat next to her gently touching her face.
I shook my head, “A goddess…wow,” I was completely awestruck and once again, didn’t know what to think so I continued to feel her face first starting at her hair and ending at her chin, “You’re…beautiful,” I muttered.
She blushed and hid her face in her hands, “You have no idea…nothing,” She murmured then she looked back up at me with crystal tears in her golden eyes. “You know absolutely nothing!” she yelled standing up.
I fell backwards, ‘She was just timid and shy, but now she looks ready to kill me,’ I thought staring up at her face as she glared at me. I stood up and brushed the tears away from her eyes and hugged her, “Tell me then,” I muttered as she struggled against me.
“Let me go!” she shouted continuing to fight her losing battle.
“Once you calm down, please…I sense that you’ve had a hard life…a very hard life, just tell me and I’ll listen, I won’t interrupt and I’ll be here…I may have just met you but I sense that I’ve met you before and I want to remember,” I continued to hug her and she stopped struggling so I gently and slowly let her go and her knees buckled.
“Ok…I’ll tell you…but it’s a very long story so maybe you should sit down,” she said and I sat down on the ground next to her looking at her deeply trying to figure out what the feeling of belonging meant. “It all started when I was seventeen, my mother was the healer of our village, the Shadow Village…”

“Achiago!” A tall older looking screamed as she was being dragged towards the temple, “Get Mordacris and get out of the village!” One of the gruff men dragging her smacked her and spit on her new floral kimono. The seventeen-year-old girl ran back to her family’s hut and ran over to Mordacris-her eighteen-year-old brother-and started to pull him towards the entrance of the hut.
“Hey! Stop pulling me and tell me why you’re so frantic!” He yelled, yanking his arm out of Achiago’s grasp.
“Mom’s been called for the sacrifice!” She yelled grabbing some clothes and food for the two of them. Mordacris and Achiago ran away from the village and ended up sitting at the edge of a huge crystal blue lake, “And I was the best warrior! Not only that but the only female warrior! Ezralise had to go and screw that up for me!” Achiago ranted as they set up camp that night.
“Shh! Be quite sis…you don’t know if there’s anyone following us! And yes, I know it’s hard, I was in training to learn the healing arts and take mom’s place, but now we have to find somewhere else to live,” Mordacris hugged his sister and lay down a couple of blankets. Achiago laid down on one and started to cry, “Do you want to sleep close to me?” Mordacris asked hugging Achiago.
“But…it’s not allowed…oh well, we aren’t part of any village now so I guess it’s ok…” She moved her blanket next to her brother’s and fell asleep. When she woke up the next morning Mordacris was gone but he left a note saying, ‘Went to hunt be back around noon’ Achiago sat on a rock near the lake and wondered what she should do now. “I know!” she said aloud to no one in particular, “I’m gonna go find that damn goddess Ezralise, and slay her! Then everything will be alright!” she skipped off to make some new weapons seeing as that was pretty much the one thing she didn’t bring.
“Achiago! Could you skin this deer for me?” Mordacris shouted returning to camp, when no one replied he started to get worried, “Achiago! I really don’t need any tricks played on me.” Still no one replied so he sat on the ground for an hour until Achiago came back with her and Mordacris’ swords. “How did you get those!?” He yelled, “You better not have gone back to the village!” The look on Achiago’s face told him all he needed to know, “Listen we cannot go back there, it is now considered that we were never part of the village and we never can be again.”
Achiago meekly nodded and handed Mordacris his sword as she sat down to clean hers, “Brother…I just need my sword…it was a gift from father…I promise that I won’t go back again.” She hung her head in shame.
Mordacris put his hand under her chin and lifted her face to meet his and smiled, “It’s ok…I understand.” Achiago smiled back and continued to clean her sword. Mordacris studied his sword looking at the detail in the hilt, his had a dragon on it with rubies for eyes. He looked over at his sister and started to study her sword. It had a two foot blade that was strangely backwards, she was one of the rare people who could use those kind of swords, her hilt had a blue and white phoenix on it with diamonds for eyes. The blade had a saying carved into it, “Being physically strong is good, but to survive in life you need to also be mentally strong
It was from their father who left them to fight in the war with the Lightning Village, he died in the final battle but he got a hero’s death, he was the one who slayed the Lightning Village’s leader and then the rest of the General’s did the easy work fixing up their evil Village turning it into the Shadow Village’s closest ally.
