I'm bored so I will write!
The rain poured down around me, but not on me. A mage was holding the rain off, the duke could never get wet, or someone else's head would end up on the stake at the front of the castle. I sat, curlied up in one of the wagons, trying to stop bleeding. I was the duke's servant. After my parent's died my uncle, the duke, decided if he took me in he would get more attention, and so he would have a personal battle-dummy. Everyone who knew didn't care, they knew if they said anything they would be fired or killed. I was so lost in my thought's until I felt the sharp pain of the duke's whip hitting my back. I gasped and fought the urge to yell out or cry. "Wretched girl! Can you not hear?" he demanded. "I-I'm sorry Duke Roaul, what do you need assistance with?" I asked shakily. He made a noise like a snort, but he wouldn't be so undignified. Would he?. "I need you to do a job for me. That Vedris is getting horribly annoying, I want him gone. But, I could not kill him myself," he pulled something from his cloak, I gasped. "B-but Duke Baird! I can't kill him! Especially using his own bow!" I replied, horrified. "Oh yes you will." he retorted wickedly, "Unless of course you would like to be left behind." I gulped, i knew he would leave me to die in the woods, but Vedris was an animal healer which were hard to find, and my friend. My eyes filled up as I grabbed the bow, I pointed it towards Vedris. Pulling the string back I realized I could not do this. I grabbed the quiver, and with the bow in hand, I jumped out of the wagon. I heard the duke's yells as he ordered his men after me.
Ok boredness over bye bye
