Aqua is an original character created by Tetsuya Nomura. She first appears in Birth by Sleep and is the only female main protagonist of that game. She is voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi in the Japanese version and Willa Holland in the English version. Her name means "water" in Latin which carries a water theme similar to that of Kairi, whose name means "sea".[18] Aqua is a level-headed and serious person, but often worries about her friends. Her Keyblade is called Rainfell (レインフォール?, lit "Rainfall").

Hello, I'm Aqua. As not many of you will know, I also cosplay as others, such as Maria, Lan Fan, Kanade, Satoru and myself. My Nee-chan is Serah, also cosplaying as Shannon.
