THE STORY QUEST FOR THE DEMON HORNS
A Hero from Long past Captured and Striped from his Power and Chained, Yet his Power was far to Great to be contained. Bound to what Future is ahead of him, What lies ahead for Our young brave hero. His Fairy Guide always by his side. An Ancient Blade of Steel which cannot be taken from him, For it was bound to him. The Only clothing he has is the Scarf his lover gave to him for luck on his journey (boxers without say), Hoping he would make it back to her. He's eyes blood red like that of a demon. You may wonder how a Hero, more so Why a Hero would be bound from his Power and Chained. Well, he did make it back from his Journey and he found his lover. Just he was gone for far to long and his Village was over run with Demons and The Holy Guard and it just happens to be that he got there just as One of the Holy Guard pulled his spear from his lover. This out raged the Hero for the reason he left was to Fight for the Kingdom. He then pulled his Sword which was bound to him by his Father, A Great Sorcerer. Charging straight in and slaughtering everything in his path trying to get to the one who killed his beloved, Not caring if they were of The Holy Guard or a Demon. When the Fight was over The Holy Guard and the Demons laid on the ground around him. He was covered in Blood and his eyes now a Blood red color. Some of the Villagers still alive slowly walk out from their houses, two of the older ones walked over to him. The Hero looked up his eyes glowing for the light of the Moon. "Back Away" The Hero said. One of the Two Villagers that walked over to the Hero says. "Thank you for saving us." The other one backed away slowly. The Hero replied "I'll Kill you too, if you don't get away from me." The Villager bows to him and the other one that was slowly walking away saw the Hero's eyes glow a bit as he spoke his words and he took off in a run. "Ahh!, I think you should get away from him." The One Villager said as he ran with a shaky voice scared for his life. Then the Hero pulled his sword and dashed forward and sliced the man in half, then said "I said keep away from me." He then wiped his blade off and returned it to the shealth. "I'm not the Man you knew before,.. I've changed" The Hero walked over to his dead lover's cold pale body and picks her up and walks slowly back across the way he came in going over the bodies all the way out of the Village. The Hero walked for several hours later and reached an abandoned house and he took her inside and laid her body on the bed and left the house to get material to preserve her body. He came back to the house it was then late in the night and he went in and started a ritual. He chanted "Spirits from the shadows, please don't take this one yet let her stay the way she is take me before her." The house started to glow purple and all around her body and his was purple flames. He Continued "Make her Time mine and Mine hers, Let the two of us share what time we have give her my time." The Flames grew and shadowy figure started to rise up. He kept chanting "Spirits I ask this one thing of you, How much good have I brought this world? I know the rage you saw today should not allow me to ask this of you, But yet I am here and I am asking." The Shadow grew and took form "Why? Tell me why I should help you a mortal which can't control his own anger his own hatred?" He looks at the shadow, "I had every right to slay every one of them there that night. It was unjust to her and to me. She has done nothing wrong besides love a man like myself." The shadow moves closer to him speaking angrily, "You speak of unjust, The old man what did he do? Nothing just a Thank you, to the Man who saved him. Why did he have to die?" He looks down, "Your right, I shouldn't have taken his life. Should I give you mine for his?" He looked up at the Spirit his eyes watery with a sadden voice, "What must I do for you to save her?" The Shadow Spirit turned his back to him, "If you wish to save her you must go on a Quest." A Fairy flies in thru the window, and the Shadow Spirit continues to talk "Navi, Go with this man here and have him seek out the Demon Horns" The Fairy nodded and flew over to him "Hi, I guess I'm your guide." The Shadow faded and the purple flames staid around him and his lover. "I'll keep an eye on her, And remember this isn't for you, Its for her. What was done was unjust not for you but for her so if you can get the Demon Horns then the girl will live until then, I'm watching" The Door was then busted in "Get him!" more of The Holy Guard grabbed the Hero, knocked him out and Carried him off. The Holy Guard striped him of everything they could leaving him with the Sword and the Scarf, Not taking his boxers of course. Then they put a barrier on his Magic and bound his hands in chains. The Hero woke up not knowing where he was, Not being able to see because it was pitch black. He slowly stood up, "Hello, Where am I?" A hard thud on the Door, "Shut up in there!" said a voice from outside. The Hero walked towards the sound, "What have you done to me? Why are my hands bound?" The thud was heard again, "I told you to shut up do I have to open the door and kick your a**!" The Hero tried to free his hands, then a familiar voice was heard "Need some light?" once that was said the purple flame reappeared. The Hero turned said kinda out raged "Where are you!?" The Thud was heard again "I said shut up!!" The Voice was heard again, "Temper, Temper. Didn't my Brother tell you about that? No one can here me but you. Where has Navi gone? I bet she couldn't keep up with the horses." A snap sound was heard then the Fairy appeared, "What the!? Where am I now?" The Fairy lit up and the you could now see the prison he was now kept in, "This place doesn't look nice." the fairy shivers. The Hero looked up at the fairy, "Navi, are you alright?" before she could answer he looks back at the Spirit, "What do you mean bother? And why are you here?" The Spirit fades into the wall "Just keeping an eye out, The flame shall now stay with you." The voice of the Shadow Spirit fades. The Guard opens the door "Thats it you asked for it!" the guard stops in shock to see the purple flame and the Fairy, "Demon! Ahhh!" the guard runs up the stairs to get help. The Hero looks at the Fairy "Navi, I think we better get out of here." The Fairy flies to the door, "I think your right, and we better hurry." They both then run out of the cell and hide below the steps. Three Guards run down and look in the cell "Where did the Man go?" one of the said then the other said, "Did the Demon eat him?" then the one that was on Guard to begin with says "The Man is the Demon he had a purple flame and a fairy with him, He was going to kill me so I had to get help." The Hero jumps around the conner "I'm the Demon! Here I am, What are you going to do!?" The Three Guards run into the cell and close the door making it lock automatically. The fairy looks at the Hero laughing "How stupid some humans are. Now time for our escape." They both run out of the Prison and then the Fortress. After they have gone a while away from harm, they come across a thick forest, as they get closer and closer to it the Fairy starts to shake. The Hero looks at the Fairy and the Fairy looks back down at him wondering what he was thinking, "Why are you looking at me that way?" The Hero replied "I was just wondering why you were shaking so much." The Fairy looked ahead of them and then back at the Hero and said "Well, Ummm.. Its the Forest." The Hero replied again, "What of it?" The Fairy replied, "I know of it.." The Fairy stopped for a second, "I know of it far to well." They got to the Forest and the Fairy stops, "Wait! There's a Crazy Sorcerer in there and he likes to eat Fairies, I use to live in this forest with my family and he got to us and well I was saved by the Shadow Spirit. Please don't make me go there." The Hero looks at the Fairy, "Is there a faster way to the Demon Horns?" The Fairly replied "No, but.." The Hero interrupted the Fairy "Then we're going this way, Your my Guide and you have to listen to the Shadow Spirit and I want to go this way because its faster and you have to stay by my side." Then he begins to walk in the forest and the Fairy follows "But.. But.. But.." (To Be Continued)
They Continue into the Forest, the Fairy close behind. "I'm scared, What if I'm captured? What if I'm eatten?" The Hero Looks behind himself at the Fairy, "If your so important to the Shadow Spirit wouldn't he save you again?" A faint noise was heard from deep with in the woods. The Fairy turned towards the sound, "What was that?" The Fairy quickly hid under the Hero's scarf, "Can you see it? Do you know where its at?" the Fairy continued. The Hero lifts the Scarf with his hands in the chains and looks at the Fairy, "If my hands weren't bound I would protect you." The Fairy goes over to the chains paying no mind to the sound that was heard thinking that if she can get the chains off then she wouldn't have to worry about it, "Hmm.." The Fairy continues to look over the chains, "Nope, there is no way I can get them off. Your going to need a powerful Sorcerer, they put a strong binding spell over them." The Fairy flies to his shoulder and sits down. "I can't use me magic for some reason or I would remove them." The Hero replied. The Fairy gasped, "You.. you can use magic?" The Hero continued walking deeper into the woods and replied, "Well, I could. But for some reason, I can't right now." The Fairy looked up scared, "We're going towards the sound?" then she started shaking. The Hero looked forward watching ahead so he could see what was ahead of them, "We have to. Where else is there to go?" The Fairy was then silent. After a while them still going in that direction of the noise. The Fairy hiding under the Scarf, the Hero ducked behind a tree as he saw a strange man wondering around looking on the ground. The Hero whispered to the Fairy, "What is he looking for?" The Fairy replied whispering, "Thats him thats the guy, The Sorcerer I was talking about." The Hero and the Fairy stayed close to the man keeping there distance watching him closely. The man wondered around picking up mushrooms and various other things. The Hero and the Fairy continued watching him following the man to an old run down shack and watched the old man enter it. The Hero and the Fairy moved around the shack to a window and looked in watching the man take off his hood and cloak and then take his hand over his face and moving it down and the man's face changed before there eyes. The man wasn't a man at all it was a young woman. The Fairy was in shock, "What!?" The Hero looked at the Fairy, "Its a woman?" They watched her for a bit more. She moved over to the table and placed what she gathered down there, "Father, I'm home!" (To Be Continued)
