I remember there is a movie for it but I don't think I watched it, good luck with reading Dead Poets Society and your struggle with the subject matter and the slump, talk again soon Paperworm! Have a lovely day 📖🐛🪱 *shoebug reads a tiny book in your shoe in the dark*

Stupid me forgot to answer your question about favorite book and posted my response on my own wall rofl , hmmm, possibly The Coral Island for it's just innocent sense of discovery of mostly simple things and a childhood sense of wonder in it, oh yes I read insomnia years ago and I've read some of the dark tower series it's bizarre as hell

Yesss yesss, I wonder that too, if it was absolutely cherished or if said book possible gift was something their family member just grabbed because it was old and looked like something they'd be into

Imagine sending it now all these years later, ends up solving a mystery in their life rofl most times the readers of the books I read are long gone turned to mummydust, the message will be like Happy 83 birthday Uncle/Grandpa Joseph, and the data will be like 1975, then I wonder if I'd get along with the people who owned the book before, sometimes ive wondered if I've owned any books by people I've known in my life or passed in a store or something at some point in my life

Haha yes yes I love when I stumble across random notes or messages in books, sometimes they are hilarious or heartfelt, or sometimes notes to a family member who perhaps gave them the book, I've found a few in my books to such and such with the dates sometimes being like 1975, I've found newspaper clippings from way way back, lotto tickets, grocery receipts from before I was born, it's incredible what you can find, some people find money tucked in books, occasionally I find religious quotes randomly stuffed in too, sometimes I wonder about the people who owned the books prior wonder if they are alive still or highly enjoyed the books, things like that *shoebug rolls around in your shoe* redface

Shoebug does both of these things, I take chances frequently, thankfully I don't end up disappointed too often, only occasionally, I did get one British Western book one time though, it was AWFUL rofl he just couldn't write the west at all, and the book didn't even have a satisfactory conclusion, I wrote a note inside warning people to not bother buying it because I donated instead of throwing it out hahaha

I've been reading this series since I was in grade 9 when I was a teenager I bought one of the books in the spin-off series not even realizing that it was a series I thought it was a standalone book and I happened to mention it to my friend and my friend was like oh I actually know what you're talking about and then he moved away to a different province in the country and he called me and told me he had a surprise for me and he sent me a box and it was like a ton of books in the series and I started reading them and then slowly I found a whole bunch of them at thrift stores and stuff like that I have the book series printed off and check mark which ones I have in a binder, old school lol *shoebug rushes up and dives into your shoe underneath your sole*

Oh I forgot to answer your question in the last post, Yes it's the same character through every book and his teammates are mostly the same a couple in the one team die in a replaced but basically you can read the books in any order except the first 38 and sometimes the other main series even though they're standalone might make like passing references to events that happened in the past

In the main series the first 38 books are all sequential and going order then after that all the books can be read in any order pretty much and then they made two spin-off series about his team one is called able team the other is called Phoenix force and there's a 51 of each of those books series he doesn't appear in that and then they made another series called Stony man which is the name of his organization and he is with both teams in that and works with them together the teammates appear in the main series on occasion but only sometimes
