Jack Groves.... Comin' down the sidewalk walkin' up to that old mahogany house. He seems to live there on account that I've never seen his folks before, I really don't know... I always see him wearin' old ripped up blue overalls that look like they haven't washed in years, their buttons are tarnished to a copper color unlike the gold that they probably were years ago, his hair looked pretty long because it covered his eyes causing him to move his hair a lot. The color of his hair was a pale brown and his eyes were a very bright aqua green and he was as skinny as a string bean! He asked me once if I went on any adventures. I said that I never really got out much. Well he slapped his knee and asked me to come on one of his adventures, he said I would see things that were unreal to the mind... I look back on those years, I should of went with him, but sadly I said no and remained in the box of dullness... Now I can't really go anywhere because I'm old and rickety, but I swear to you people that I still see that kid Jack Groves running down the sidewalk now and then and he looks as though he hasn't aged a day in his life, perhaps his adventurous spirit keeps him forever young, and maybe.... I could of been too...
