~Alone~
I'm dying and crying
Lying on the floor
Weeping for lost salvation
And trying to open a closed door
I'm reaching out in darkness
Searching, trying to feel
The warmth of a helping hand
Something I don't believe is real
In this black nothingness
I have made my bed
Clutching at my throbbing throat
My tears have turned blood red
An unfamiliar pressure
Was suddenly on my back
I realized I'm not alone
In this unrelentless black
I turned around and saw a face
A hand wiped away my tears
Finally someone to care for me
And chase away my fears
But then my friend faded away
And once again I began to cry
Alone in this ruthless, unforgiving place
I await my turn to die
