When Nicolas woke up the next morning it took him a moment to recall what had happened. Disoriented from sleep, the first thing he noticed was that he was wearing no clothes under his covers and that was something he never did because it got so icy in the apartment. The next thing he noticed was the clothes that he should have been wearing, discarded on the floor next to the bed. Then more awake, with his mind working properly, he remembered. Sitting up and running his fingers through his dyed blonde hair, those odd grey eyes looked around the room, spotting Death. The creature was in turn watching the boy, particularly admiring the pale skin that became exposed when the sheet fell back. "You couldn't have put the clothes in the hamper, could you?" The boy asked, shaking his head.
Death cocked one thin dark eyebrow, mouth falling open. This boy knew exactly how to shock the creature. "What the Hell is wrong with you? Are you insane?" He asked.
Nicolas shrugged his thin shoulders and slipped out from under the covers, not seeming bothered by the fact that Death openly looked him over, pale lips curved into a smirk. The musician gathered up the clothes from the floor and stuck them in the hamper, making a mental note that he would have to do clothes soon because almost all of the few outfits he owned were in there. The fingers of one hand rested against the frame of the door, dancing across the wood as he grabbed clothes from the closet. Death had begun to notice that the boy often did that. If he didn't have something to occupy him, his fingers were always moving as if he were mentally playing the violin.
The boy quickly dressed in a simple outfit of worn-out jeans and a faded t-shirt, throwing his jacket on and grabbing his violin and notebook. "Where are you going?" The purveyor of souls asked.
"School." Nicolas stated like it was most obvious thing in the world. "I'm going to school."
"Stay home." Death said, though it sounded more like a command as he rose from the couch, advancing towards the other. "We can have fun together."
"I don't want to." The boy responded, head tilted to the side slightly as he watched the other advance calmly. "What are you talking about? What fun?"
The creature stopped in his tracks, eyeing the other in disbelief. "Are you dense or something?" He inquired.
The blonde head shook as he looked naively back at Death who just went back to the couch and sat down. "There is definitely something wrong with you. You're not normal."
"You say that a lot and I don't think you should be talking about being normal considering you shouldn't even exist." The boy retorted back, the pout on his lips once more.
In an instant Death rose from the couch and went towards Nicolas, stopping only inches away from the other. "I say that because you are weird and something is definitely wrong with you." He said lowly. "And I obviously do exist considering what just occurred last night."
Taking the violin and notebook from Nicolas' hands, Death pushed the boy back until he was pressed against the wall, connecting their lips lustfully. Nicolas sighed softly against the others lips before kissing him back. The creature pressed his bony body close to the boy's, grinding their hips together causing the mortal to moan softly. "You smell nice." Nicolas commented when Death pulled away, making the other blink in surprise.
"Um...thank you." Death said actually smiling. Not smirking, smiling. "Have I ever mentioned your weird?"
Nicolas pouted and poked the other in the chest lightly. "Stop saying that. I'm not weird."
"You were just kissing Death...weird."
