Were music teachers born to be annoying?

“You’re not playing in tempo! Do you even know your notes? I had a metronome set up; you should have been listening to it. Blah, blah, blah…”
Yah...that pretty much sums up how my orchestra test went. A beautiful ‘C’ and I believe I still have to sit in last chair. (In orchestra, how well you play compared to other people in your section is how you get seated. People in the front are the better players, whereas people in the back are worse)
Gosh she’s annoying…
My music teacher has been ranting on and on for the past few days about how we can’t play Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s almost depressing…mostly because she’s right. You have to understand! We got this piece a few weeks ago. That is not long enough to prepare for music like that! Our concert is Monday and she keeps threatening to take people out of the concert.
…I’m a goner…
