I’m sorry that I wasn’t there
I’m sorry that I lied
I know you think that I don’t care
And that is why I cry.
I wish I could have seen
I wish that I had known
I really didn’t mean
To leave you all alone.
I want to hold your hand
I don’t want you to cry
I’m not sure if I can
But I really want to try
The things I didn’t say
The things didn’t do
I wish that I could find a way
To make it up to you.
I see the pain
You feel inside
I see the pain
Inside your eyes
I sorry that I wasn’t there for you.
