Anyways. I bought 7 manga, all of them being shounen ai, yaoi, BL, whatever you want to call it. Your choice. I also found more Metal Gear action figures, but yet again they had no Snake, which is expectable. The dealer was so glad I didn't scream o.o Poor dealers.
Saw 'Man Sakura', which we have affectionately called him from last year. He was dressed as Strawberry from Tokyo Mew Mew this year. Really hope I can see him again next year, he's quite awesome.
Also, 'Loud Yaoi Man'. Interesting fellow. Screaming, "Come and get your yaoi!" He was cool. I wanted his rainbow yaoi flag. Also, I wanted a yaoi paddle, but I had no clue where people were getting them.
Didn't see the Vash that is there every year, maybe because the dealer’s room was so freaking big this year, and I only went on Sunday. Oh well.
So, we lost Maryanne and Lisa about 1 hour into AN, and then Juhachi, Stephanie and I sat outside for 2 hours, watching people go in and out, snagging pictures along the way.
OMG I saw a Solid Snake. I was so very happy.
Also, the ninja's. Hilarity. They run around dressed sorta like ninja's and won't talk to you. They hide behind things, but you can still see them clearly on the other side xD
Anyways, we saw one take the lid off a garbage can a put it on his head. They are great. What we heard from a friend after the con was that when you see a ninja you are supposed to run after them with your hand in the air, with your finger shaped as a claw, and scream "RRRRR~!" like a pirate. Then when you see a pirate, tie a shirt around your head and run around like a ninja.
Silly anime people, I love you.
We saw a No Face (Spirited Away) and Mario (Nintendo) fight with plungers, since Mario was with a Luigi. It was funny. Spawned because No Face eats people and No Face tried to "eat" Mario.
Oh God, that was the best part of the day, other than No Face broke her costume
We finally net up with our lost people at like 3 o' clock. They went to the Double Tree hotel to see if I went to Yaoi North xD
So, we left at 4, since we spent almost all our money... I was the only one with money left, and I had $60. Hahaha.
So. We went to this mall, and we were so tired. Juhachi had fun grouping really soft pillows. The ones that are squishy and have the tiny Styrofoam pellets in them. They are nice, but ya, it's was like, OMG stop touching them, we're leaving now XD
All in all, Anime North this year was so fun, and I plan to go all year next year, but first I need a job XD
A lot of my friends will hopefully be there, we need to plan it right, and not break the plan. We're group cosplaying Full Moon o Sagashite (Manga), and Battle Roya; (Manga, Anime, or Live Action Movie). Then the other day is free for all cosplay.
Anime people are so nice! Wewt.
