My heart is healing, slowly becoming harder than it was before. Yet I hold feelings for people still. Its like life has been injected into my veins, its refreshing.

Damn it all still. It just bothers me at times knowing that I lost three years of my life, sacrificing myself for no reason. I was told to believe in him, but "things change". I hate that with a fiery passion. I don't think I will believe anyone who says that until I see an engagement ring in front of me. I can't wait till I find that one man, but he won't come along for a few years. And I'm alright with that. Love shouldn't come this early in life. I just want to go on a bloody date.
