I hate father's day. I don't celebrate father's day. There are several dates that I abhor.
1) Father's day
2) a week or so after my birthday. Why? My father died a week after my 8th birthday (that is not the reason I hate father's day)
3) The entire month of February.
4) Any monday that I have to go to work... which is most mondays.
Things I've learned by working at a daycare:
1) Toddlers think all water is good water - even the water from the toilet
2) Babies spit up at the worst times
3) Modesty is not a word known to children
4) There is no decency in working with children and all that can been bared to the parents - will be.
5) There is no five second rule - if it's on the floor it can be eaten, even three months later and everything is Edible
6) Peeing through the fence is more fun that asking to go to the restroom
7) Peeing on a friend is more fun than going to the restroom - especially when peeing on said friend with another friend
cool Children have an uncanny ability to bounce back after even the worst injuries
9) Minor head trauma doesn't count until 7 years old
10) If you don't want to be asked about it - don't mention it to a three year old or even hint about it - even if you think they're asleep
In short: I'm putting in my two weeks notice monday. ^_^ I love my job - but I've lost my sanity and now it's time to infect the world. First place: Either the Hospital or a Loan Office biggrin Because they're boring and in need of vitality.
I'm painting a picture for our Class Reunion this year. It's a picture of the class president's baby Jillian. She looks soo much like her mommy and daddy that it's sooo cute. Plus, I need to practice Acryllics >> I've been sucking lately with them.
i've been wanting to cosplay just for the fun of it. I have nothing that resembles any characters of any manga/anime - but it won't stop me from trying ^_^ Especially now that my lovely sister *throws a pencil at her* dyed my hair a very light blonde and effectively turned it... orange. Yes, Orange. More, unripe orange as it's lighter on top. As it turns out - I have dark red in parts of my hair and those parts that were not the light brown turned an odd Orange color. Part of it actually turned honey blonde - or a shade lighter. Humph, anyway. I think it'd me mostly Temari that I'd cosplay as my hair is also short. I was going to be Yuna from FinalFantasy for Halloween but with my hair so orange and any attempts to correct would surely ruin it - that doesn't look like it'll happen.
Hot Jeremy made me a friend of facebook!!!! ^_^ Yes, Hot Jeremy is awesome. Hot Jeremy needs a cookie for being so hot and for thinking i'm important enough to be friended. Gotta love black spiked hair. *swoons* Too bad I don't think I'd date Hot Jeremy. confused
Anywho, I'm off to make Temari's balls out of my hair. xD That so didn't sound right.
