The Creation Of A Forbidden Love
He sat at his throne, lonely, puzzled, and lost in thought. Then suddenly, out of the nowhere, he called for his henchman. “Atropholis!” The sound of his call thundered surpass the room.
A small dark figure quickly scurried to his side. “Yes! Master Lucifer Satan Number Two, I am here at your command.”
“It’s Lucifer Satan the SECOND you maggot!”
“Errrr...... Right. Sorry master.”
Lucifer simply tilted his head and looked at the small devil. “Atropholis, do you know what day it is?”
The small devil looked up at the King of Demons and Devils. Fear ran throughout his body as he looked his king directly in the eyes. “Y-Y-Ye-Yes, master, would you like to know in the time of Earth or Heaven and Hell?”
“Give it to me in Earth time.”
“Yes Master. In Earth time, it would be the sixth day of the sixth month.”
“What about the year?”
“Would you like to know the year according to the beginning of the Earth, the trilobites, or the dinosaurs?”
“The dinosaurs.”
“Then it’s the year of 6,000,000.”
“Do you know what this means?”
“... Ummm.... It’s your birthday?”
“Yes..... BUT NO! You fool! It means that I only have 4,000,000 more years to live!!”
“Right! Yes! Sorry master!”
“This means that I need a successor... Atropholis, who is currently the strongest devil?”
Atropholis pulls out a small book and flips through it a little. He suddenly stops and looks up at Lucifer. “You master.”
“.... BESIDES ME YOU IDIOT! I CAN’T BE THE SUCCESSOR TO MYSELF!”
“Right, sorry master! The strongest devil after you is Damian.”
Lucifer gives out a big sigh, “I hate him, who is after him.”
“Darius.”
“Hate him too. Next.”
“Dwayne.”
“He aggravates me. Next.”
“Datriphlis.”
“Too self centered. Next.”
“Dartangan.”
“Next.”
“Larry.”
“..... If we go down the list anymore, it’ll be too easy for them to get overruled by the other devils. Damn that God, he just had to put that stupid blessing on us 16,000,000 years ago. Now no King of Demons and Devils are able to live in Hell for more than 10,000,000 years. Instead, we’re “blessed” to go live as a pathetic organism on Earth. While he gets to live forever in heaven! Damn him, he calls it a blessing, I call it a curse! Damn it! Atropholis! What to do... What to do....”
Lucifer closes his eyes and begins to think of a solution, at the same time, he mumbles out his thoughts. Atropholis looks up at his master and replies, “Well... Master, you could always.... Make a devil.”
“No, No. That won’t do at all.” The king replied as he continues to mumble to himself.
“You could make a copy of yourself.” Atropholis suggested.
“No, that won’t do either...” He continued to think, he went quite for a moment. Then simply breaking the silence, he says, “Ah hah! I’ve got it! I’ll make a devil! And he’ll be just as handsome, strong and smart as me! Gosh Lucifer, you’re such a genius!”
“But... Master, it was my Id-” Atropholis was quickly cut off.
“Yeah, yeah, we must get to work quickly!” he got up, scurried around, and gathered a mess of tools. He then suddenly paused, walked over to Atropholis and asked, “Errrr... How do you make a devil?”
Atropholis gave out a huge sigh and said, “The process requires the sacrifice of 6 devils and a cup of your blood.”
Lucifer returned to his throne, looked at Atropholis, and said, “In that case, go summon Damian, Darius, Dwayne, Datriphlis, Dartangan, and Larry. If they are the strongest, then the devil I create will be stronger then the strongest. With the combination of six devils and my blood, he will be able to live for 70,000,000 years! Take that stupid God, you and your oh-so-knowing-and-seeing-everything-of-a-shininess!” Lucifer waved his hand to dismiss Atropholis.
Meanwhile, In heaven....
God sits oh his throne, looking down upon his “All knowing scroll,” The scroll of heaven, it allows him to see everything, and know everything. God laughs to himself as he looks down upon the scene that occurs in hell. “Wait..... That’s not fair! I want to make something too!” With a fussy look, he stops laughing and rests his chin upon his hand. Then dully, he creates a mirror with his finger. He looks in the mirror and says out loud, “Wow, I guess I am pretty shiny.” He continues to sit, thinking quietly with a look of boredom implanted on his face. He then calls in his assistant, “Athilly!”
Swiftly and elegantly, a small angel flew to his side, “Athilly here at your command God!”
God turned to the little angel and said, “Athilly, what should I do about this matter.”
She looked at him and replied, “Well from what I’ve notice, everything that Satan does, you always seem to try to counter it. Like when the first Satan created Atropholis, you created me to counter him. So I would guess that you would want to create an angel to counter his devil.”
“Hrrrmmm.... a counter huh? Now, what to do...”
“I don’t think you really need one though, since you get to live forever.”
“Hey you never know, I could..... get eaten.... or something.... Besides, a successor isn’t the point. I just want to make something, because it’s fun!”
Athilly gave a God a dumbfounded look, as she simply replied with, “Uhhh....”
“I know, I’ll create an angel, it will be a girl. She’ll be the most beautiful and innocent. I’ll even make her to be as smart as me! Stupid Satan, thinking he’s so smart, well two can play at this game!”
Athilly gave out a big sigh. “Shall I go get your supplies?”
God nodded, “Oh yes, please.” And with that, Athilly flew. She was gone for a while, but had returned with many things for him to use. “Athilly, for an angel so tiny, you’re so helpful. Now with that said, let’s make the best angel.”
God had first gathered a mush of cloud and began playing with it as if it were a pile of play-doh, and slowly it began to morph into a body shaped figure. Her legs were long, she had a small waist, and of all the angels, the most beautiful face. Athilly took her finger and poked it into the soon-to-be-angel and swirled it around, creating a belly button for the angel. God looked at the tiny angel as smiled, “I think we’re almost done.”
Athilly smiled back, then turned to look at the angel, she stared at her for a moment, then shouted, “GOD! YOU HAVE TO MAKE HER BOOBS BIGGER!”
God turned to the angel and said, “What’s wrong with her chest and being like that?”
“God, if you want her to be the most beautiful angel, she can’t be flat chested!”
With a confused look on his face, he replied, “Well what about you? Your flat chested and you look cute to me.”
A tiny blush came across Athilly’s face as she defended herself, “You made me tiny, so if you did give me a big chest, I wouldn’t be able to move around! Besides, I would have probably just ended up like a balloon.”
God just chuckled and said, “Okay, then would you do the honors of making her chest bigger?”
Athilly gave a big smile and began to form bigger breast for the angel. “There! All done! Now we need to get her wings.”
Athilly pulled up a box, pulled out a pair of wings and said, “What about these?”
God glanced over and said, “Those are adorable, but those are the wings I used to make you. I’m pretty sure they’re too small for her.”
Pulling out another set, she asks, “Will these work?”
“Those are male wings.”
Dragging out another pair, “What about these?”
“Too many feathers, it might be to hard for her to walk.”
“I KNOW! What about these!?”
“Oh My Gosh! Why didn’t I think of that earlier! That’s my latest one isn’t it?! Perfect! Athilly, you’re such a genius!”
“Now, let’s get these attached!”
“Oh, let’s give her blonde hair!”
“You know God, for an ‘All-high-and-mighty,’ you act a lot like a child.”
“Oh right, that, well the scroll says I won’t mature until these things called ‘humans’ come on Earth.”
With a blank stare, Athilly asked, “And when will that be?”
“I don’t know, the scroll won’t tell me, it’s supposed to be soon.”
“Well How do these things called ‘humans’ come to Earth.”
Letting out a sigh, God replies, “The scroll won’t tell me that either, I’ve threaten to destroy it, but since it’s the ‘all-seeing-and-knowing scroll’, it knows I won’t because I need it to see everything and know everything.”
“Oh... I have another question. If you created everything besides Heaven and Hell, who created you and Satan?”
“I don’t know. I’ve asked the scroll, it refuses to tell me that too.”
Athilly had a disappointed look on her face, “What if I asked the scroll?”
God returned the his throne and picked up the scroll. “Won’t work, it only listens too me, it can only be destroyed by me, and it only answers too me. But it says it won’t be entirely dedicated to my commands until I mature.”
“Oh, that’s a bummer.”
God suddenly jumped up and said, “Well let’s finish up this angel shall we?” And with that he put his hand upon her forehead and shone a bright light upon her. The angel suddenly opened her eyes and stood up.
“Now, what should we name her?”
Athilly jumped up and down, waving her hand, “Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!”
“Ok, what should her name be?”
“ATHILLY!”
A blank look appeared upon his face, “That can’t be her name, that’s yours.”
The small angel stopped hopping around and became silent, “oh... right...”
“I know, your name will be GODDESS!”
Athilly had stolen the blank look that had appeared on God’s face before. “That’s no better than my suggestion! That’s just your name with a ‘dess’ at the end of it!”
“I know! Isn’t it a beautiful name though?!”
“No.”
“Oh fine, we’ll name her Serenity. Happy?” He stuck his tongue out at the little angel.
The newly made Angel looked at both God and Athilly and repeated, “Serenity.”
God looked upon the beautiful Angel and said, “Good! She knows her name now, now since I made you so smart, why don’t you run along and get dressed, then you can go introduce yourself to everyone with Athilly! Oh yes, and remember, you must never get involved with a devil.”
While back in Hell....
“Is he done yet!?”
“He’s almost done master.”
Lucifer paced himself, he walked back and forth across the room. Atropholis watched as his master walked back and forth, having a conversation with himself. A spark had flared in the chamber, both devils had turned their eyes to look upon the giant ball of fire. A deep thundering roar came from deep within the fire, it echoed all throughout hell, it brought a shiver upon Atropholis and many other devils, but it brought a wicked smile onto Lucifer’s face. The flare had disappeared, and all that remained was a pile of ash.
“Oh no! Did we do something wrong?! Where is he Atropholis! Oh no, father was right, I am a failure!”
Lucifer picked Atropholis up and began shaking him around, “I’m A FAILURE!!’
The pile of ash suddenly began to bulk up, it formed into a muscular devil, one bigger than most devils. Lucifer’s and Atropholis’ jaws had dropped to the floor, and soon after that, Atropholis was dropped too.
Lucifer walk over to the Devil. “My son... He’s perfect Lucifer, look at that face! It looks so evil and handsome like mine! Oh my! Look at those muscles! They’re so big and strong, also like mine. Tall, Dark, and Handsome, he’s just like me in every way!”
The buff devil simply glared over at Lucifer, his glare seemed to be more intense, deeper, and more frightening. Atropholis hid behind Lucifer, trembling at the sight that stood before him.
Lucifer sighed, then simply replied, “Oh of course, he’s just like me despite the fact that he’s of six devils and my blood, so of course he’s going to be more frightening, stronger, more evil and possibly more popular with the females. Lucifer, you idiot, why didn’t you think of that earlier, of course he’s going to be greater than you. Oh well, I suppose it can’t be helped. Your name is now, Lucifer Satan III. And now I suppose you’ll want to destroy things, so why don’t you go to Earth and destroy all of Gods stupid toy Dinosaurs, Oh, and while your at it, go see if your grandfather is alive. Atropholis, go with him. When you’re done, you can come back, introduce yourself, enjoy the females, and whatever else you want to do, but just remember, Don’t get involved with angels, we wouldn’t want you to get another damn ‘blessing’ from that God.”
Lucifer III walked out the room without a word, he walked to the portal that lead to Earth with Atropholis following close behind. When he arrived at Earth, forests began to burst into flames, Dinosaurs had began to run, destruction was making it’s path.
Back in Heaven...
“Oh no!! My poor dinosaurs!! ATHILLY! SERENITY!! Oh my gosh!! Come look at this!”
Athilly and Serenity both came flying in, they peeked over God’s shoulder to look into the scroll.
“Athilly, go to Earth with Serenity and stop him! Do it now! My poor dinosaurs!” Tears began to flow from his eyes as he watched.
“Right away sir!” Athilly replied.
Athilly and Serenity flew off, entering the portal that led to Earth. When they got there, the planet had been mostly burned by fire. Serenity sent clouds to pour down heavy rains upon the fire. She flew down onto the ground, healing everything that she touched. 500,000 Earth years had past by, and neither one had realized it. Lucifer III had became irritated that he had not been able to completely destroy the planet. Where he was destroying on the West, she was restoring at the East, where he was burning in the North, Serenity had been touching in the South. He became frustrated, so he decided to wait. He hid himself along with Atropholis, curious on why he couldn’t destroy the Earth. Then soon enough, he got his answer, an elegant maiden had flown down from the sky, she landed next to a tree, she knelt down next too a waterfall, one that was weakly running because burned down trees had polluted it and had blocked the flow. She gently touched the surface of the pool of water, creating a ripple that flowed up the river, it cleared everything in it’s path. The water became clean, and the grass around it had became green. Serenity had became exhausted, so she sat next to a dying tree, she leaned against it, peacefully falling asleep, as the tree had began to grow healthy green leaves. Athilly had sat next to Serenity, she laid her head unto Serenity’s lap. Falling asleep also.
Furious, Lucifer III marched forward. She was the reason why he spent such a long time trying to destroy the planet. If she had never come, he could have destroyed the Earth easily. He pulled his arm back, created a flaming ball in his hand, he was ready to smash it into her face. He began to merge his arm forward. But he suddenly stopped before it had reached her, the flame had lit up her face, allowing him to get a good look. She was beautiful, he didn’t know who she was, or what she was, but he didn’t want to hit her. She slowly began to open her eyes, shocked, she almost screamed, but she didn’t, because she felt Athilly move, so she knew she was sleeping, and did not want to wake her. Lucifer stared at her, putting his arm down and dismissing the fire and Atropholis.
“But Master...” Atropholis began.
“I said go.” The small devil opened the portal to hell and hopped through.
Serenity had walked over to the pool at which the river began, and where the waterfall ended. She dipped her legs knee down into the water. Lucifer had walked up beside her and sat down.
Serenity turned her head too look at him, he looked strange, different from the angels in heaven, he wasn’t as shiny and bright as them, but he was handsome. “Who are you?” She asked quietly.
“My name is Lucifer, Lucifer III.”
“Hrrrmmm... That’s strange, father’s mentioned that name a couple times before.”
“What’s your name?”
“Oh, I’m sorry, my name’s Serenity.”
“Serenity huh...” Lucifer III felt a strange feeling, one that he didn’t understand. It was a comforting feeling, but a feeling that he didn’t like.
“Well, I better get going again. Some idiot’s destroying the Earth and I have to save it.” She picked up Athilly, opened up the portal to heaven, formed a cloud, and gently laid her down on top of it and sent it off to the other side. With that, he knew exactly who she was and what she was, she was an angel, and he was not to be involved with her in anyway. Serenity spread her wings wide open, and flew off. Lucifer knew he shouldn’t have followed, but he did anyways, she landed at a beach, all dull and grey. She touched the shore, and the sea shone a deep blue. Many creatures lie dead on the ground, she didn’t have the power to bring them back to life, but she did have the power to send them to heaven, so at least God can play with them there. Serenity walked along the shore and sent the creatures to heaven, one by one. Lucifer followed, not saying a word, but at the same time, he stayed close by. Serenity had not said anything either, she would hum a melody, but would not say anything. After she cleared up the shore, she sat on a hill of sand to watch the soon to be setting sun. It had taken her over two days to clear up the mess on the beach, but she did it. Lucifer came up and sat next to her.
“Serenity, are you an angel?” he asked.
She just simply nodded her head. “Why do you ask? Aren’t you an angel too?”
He chuckled at the thought of being an angel, but he wasn’t surprised, because he was being so nice towards her, and he couldn’t understand why.
“Have you ever heard of devils?”
Serenity turned her head to look at him. “Of course I have, father says I should never get involved with them. He gave me a lot of knowledge, but I guess he forgot to give me the knowledge of what a devil looks like. But I bet they can’t be too bad.”
She was more innocent then he imagined, she didn’t understand, but yet she didn’t seem to care. For some reason, he was drawn to her. It was strange, yet comforting. Her hair was long and light blonde, unlike his which were pitch black and short. Her wings seemed light and feathery, while his were hard and rough.
She was nothing like the creatures that dwelled within hell.
Serenity looked back at the sun, the sand turned pink beneath a sunset of rubies. The stars were on fire, slowly simmering until they became diamonds. The sky was cold again, and both of them were wrapped in a cloak of darkness, just like everything else around them. Lucifer felt right at home. “It’s peaceful here, I like it.” Serenity said. Lucifer didn’t say anything, he didn’t want to tell her that he was the one that tried to destroy the place that she found to be so peaceful. “Well I better get back to heaven, father might worry about me.”
“Wait!” Lucifer grabbed her arm as she got up. She turned to look at him.
“What is it?” Serenity asked in a soft calm voice.
“I-I ummm... I want to see you again. Can you meet me here again in ten Earth years?”
“You mean a day in Heaven time?”
“Yes.”
A smile appeared on her face. “Okay.”
Serenity opened the portal to heaven and flew deep into the portal. She flew high past the level in which most of the angels enjoyed, also known as cloud nine. She soared high into the sky as if there was no limit. She stopped when she found God screaming at the scroll. Cautiously, like a stray puppy walking up to a stranger, she ask. “Father, what’s wrong?”
God looked up at his beloved angel, “Serenity... my loving angel...”
“Yes?” she replied with an innocent face.
“DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG YOU’VE BEEN GONE FOR?!” He shouted.
“Ummm... nope! I don’t think I was gone for that long.”
“You’ve been gone for 500,000 Earth years and three days! That’s 50,000 days in heaven! Yes I’ve been counting.....” God continues to talk about how worried and bored he was. While Athilly flies onto her shoulder and whispers to Serenity, “So what took you so long?”
“Oh, I met this wonderful guy, I think he’s an angel too, but a rather strange one.”
“Is it that Alfonso guy? He’s been eyeing you every time you walk past him. And I heard that ever since you were created, all his conversations have been about you.”
“No, No, I never even thought about Alfonso in any other way than a friend.”
“Then who is it? When did you meet him? Is he dreamy?”
“I met him on Earth. He’s very handsome and shy. Even though, I do think he’s a very strange angel indeed. The feathers of his wings have fallen off, or maybe they were burned off or something. His skin isn’t as soft and smooth as most angels, it seems rather rough and hard. His skin is also rather dark. And it’s also strange, because he has horns and a tail. Maybe father can fix him. Oh, and he said that his name was Lucifer III.”
Athilly began to tremble on Serenity’s shoulder. Her eyes were wide in shock, and she slowly turned her head to look at Serenity.
Confused at the little angel’s reaction she asked, “What is it Athilly? You look like you’ve just seen the King of Devils.”
“L-L-L-Lu-Lucifer III is the new king of devils.” Her eyes widen. “No way! But he seemed so nice. He can’t be that bad, and besides, I promised that I’d meet up with him again tomorrow, I think he likes me.”
“No wait. You can’t go.”
“Why not, he doesn’t seem bad at all.”
“But...”
“It’ll be fine, I promise.” Serenity gave the small angel a kind and promising wink.
“Now, with that said, Serenity!” God exclaimed as he stood up.
“Yes?!” Serenity and Athilly both replied as they jerked up straight at his statement.
“Serenity, the scroll here tells me that in about 3,000,000 Earth years, you’re going to be pregnant!”
“PREGNANT?!” Both Serenity and Athilly scream in shock.
“Yes.” God replies in a calm tone. “But the problem is, it won’t tell me who the father of the child is, or what it’s going to look like.”
“A father?” Serenity replied.
“Hrrrmmm... I wonder who that could be?” Athilly stated.
“So Serenity, I demand that you tell me who your mystery man is right now! Don’t tell me you have a crush on that Alfonso guy, you know, he’s been eyeing you a lot, and along with that, all he ever talks about is you.”
“No it’s not Alfonso, and I’m not telling you who it is.” She innocently sticks her tongue out at him and walks away.
“Hmmphh! Fine, be that way! Scroll, show me what’s on Serenity’s mind.”
God rolls the scroll open as he waits for the words to form. Black bold letters begin to take shape upon the scroll reading, “La La La La La La! ^.^ I’m not telling! I’m not telling! Too bad for you! c[: Because you’ll never find out!” Shocked, God sits at his throne upset that he couldn’t find out. “Oh well, I’ll find out eventually.”
Serenity returned to her room, walked over to her bed and fell on top of it, with Athilly repeating the same. “Athilly, I’m tired.”
“Why don’t you go wash up? You’re probably still really dirty from being on Earth, it’ll freshen you up.”
Serenity closed her eyes for a moment, there was a long period of silence until she got a reply, “Ummm Okay!”
They both walked to the main bathroom where there was a colossus spa in the center of the room. “Where is everyone?” Serenity asked a little puzzled. “Isn’t this place normally full?”
Athilly giggled as she answered, “We’re the only ones here because everyone’s at that party on cloud nine.
“Oh.” Serenity was gone for so long, she hadn’t even heard about it. They both undressed and hung up their clothes, then not long after that, they had submerged their bodies into the warm water. “Ahhh... It feels so good in here.” Serenity sighed as she leaned back, closing her eyes.
“Yup! It sure does!” Athilly swam back an forth in the spa. Finally, after quickly getting bored, she swam over beside Serenity. Athilly had grown more attached to her than she had expected to, Serenity was like an older sister to her.
Athilly leaned against Serenity, as she too, closed her eyes like Serenity. A few moments later, they heard a light tapping noise. “Athilly, quit tapping.” Serenity said, a little annoyed with the disturbance of the silence.
“I’m not doing anything.” Athilly said.
“If it’s not you, then what is it.”
“I don’t know, beats the heck out of me.” They both went quiet, both a little scared to open their eyes to see what it was. But it was heaven after all, so there was nothing that they should have been scared of. Slowly both Serenity and Athilly opened their eyes... A high pitch screech came from them both. There was someone else’s face directly in front of them.
“Ahhh!!!” Quickly Serenity flashed her wings open and wrapped herself inside as if it were her personal cocoon. Even though at the current moment it wasn’t personal at all, for Athilly was wrapped up along with her. Athilly popped her head up out of the cocoon and slapped the male’s face! But with her tiny figure, it had no effect at all, so with all her might, she tackled the male’s nose!
“Ow... what was that for?!” The male replied as he began rubbing his nose.
“What do you think it was for!?” Athilly yelled, still aggravated that he was there, watching them, without any warning. Serenity lowered her wings so that her head was no longer covered.
With her face blushing a rosy pink, she panicked and asked, “ALFONSO!! Why are you here!?”
Smiling, he gave her a straightforward answer, “I’m sorry, it’s just that... You’re so beautiful. I think about you every day. Your long blond hair, your sweet light blue eyes, your innocence more pure than anything else that God has created, everything. You’re just so perfect, I just couldn’t take it any longer, I just had to find you, and I just had to tell you that.... Serenity, I’ve fallen deeply in love with you. Will you give me a chance, that is, a chance to be the happiest angel in heaven, and I promise, I’ll do everything in my power to make you happy.”
God suddenly fell from the door, making it obvious he was eavesdropping. Even though there really is no reason for him to eavesdrop since his “all-seeing-and-knowing-scroll” tells him everything. He stood up and cleared his throat, the three pairs of eyes were set on him, then suddenly he points and shouts, “I KNEW YOUR MYSTERY MAN WAS ALFONSO! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I win! Oh, and Alfonso, you don’t need to try to make her happy, I can already give her all the happiness she desires, because I am GOD! Bwahahahahahaha! ”
Her blush had grown stronger. “Father, I already told you it’s not him!”
“Fine then, be that way... don’t tell me who it is, but I demand that you stop blushing now, you’re my perfect angel, and so you should have nothing to be embarrassed about, because your perfect. I won’t allow any embarrassment in heaven! It’s rule number 14 in my special book.” God had put on a big smile, while Serenity just sighed at his statement.
Alfonso had turned his head to look at Serenity, a secret lover? He was beyond confused, how come he had never heard of such a thing? When did it happen? Who was it?
“A secret man?” Alfonso asked, desperate to know who this guy was.
“Yes, I’m sorry Alfonso, but there’s someone else that I like.” She gave him a smile that made him blush. A noise in the background had distracted them both, they both turned their heads to see what the commotion was about.
God was searching himself, at the same time saying, “Oh no! Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, oh my gosh, where’s my scroll! Where is it when I need it the most, she could be thinking of his name right now! Oh no! I must have forgotten it on my special chair!”
Serenity turned back to Alfonso, “Why don’t you try going for Evelyn, I heard she’s got quite the thing for you.”
His eyes widened, he was surprised beyond belief, “Really? I used to have a crush on her a long time ago, but I thought she was too good for me, so I never thought that she would ever go for someone like me.” A bright smile had came across his face.
“Yeah, you thought you couldn’t get a high class angel, so that’s why you decided to go with God’s best one. Well doesn’t that just make sense. Aren’t you the smart one.” Athilly murmured to herself.
“Thank you so much Serenity!” Alfonso said as he left the room.
“Alright, I’m going to sleep, I’m going back to Earth tomorrow.” Serenity got up to get out of the spa.
“Okay! Good luck tomorrow! Take care of my little dinosaurs!” God left the room to go back to his throne.
“Didn’t the scroll tell him that all his dinosaurs had already been destroyed?” Serenity asked Athilly.
“I don’t know, I guess not.” There was a brief moment of silence.
“NOOOOOOO!!! MY PRECIOUS DINOSAURS!!”
After Lucifer III returned to hell....
He walked into the main room where his father dwelled on his throne, bossing other devils around. Atropholis was standing by the king, trying to explain why they had taken so long on Earth.
Lucifer II looked over when he saw his son, “Ahhh... Welcome back my son! Did the destruction of the planet go well?”
Lucifer III continued to walk, he didn’t stop, and he never looked over, he quickly just replied, “Shut Up.” and walked into his chamber, sealing himself in.
Lucifer II and Atropholis were stunned, they were both wide-eyed and stared at his chamber. They both turned to look at each other, “Did.. Did he just tell me to shut up?” Lucifer II said, shocked, but yet still in disbelief of what had just been spoken by his son.
“Errrr...” Atropholis was sure he heard the same thing, but wasn’t sure how he should answer.
“Did HE just tell ME to SHUT UP?!” Lucifer II shouted.
“Ummm... Yes Master Lucifer Number Two, he did.”
“For the I-Don’t-Know-How-Many-Times, It’s Lucifer the SECOND you imbecile!”
“Yes! Right, sorry master.”
“Oh my gosh! My son did just tell me to shut up!” Lucifer II squealed.
Atropholis wasn’t sure how to react, he was scared, but didn’t know what to do.
“I’m sure he’s probably in a bad mood or some-” once again, he was cut off by his master.
“Oh my gosh! My son is so cool! He’s going to be the best King of Demons and Devils ever!”
Stunned by his master’s reaction at being told to shut up, Atropholis was silent.
Inside his chamber, Lucifer III laid on his ebony black and blood red bed. He thought of only her, why he thought of her, he couldn’t understand, but he wanted her. But at the same time, he feared her reaction if she knew who he really was, what he really was. He scratched that thought away, he couldn’t fear anything, he wasn’t allowed to fear anything, he was supposed to be fear himself. But as much as he tried not to think of her, her image was stuck in his mind like weeds were to a garden, no matter how many times he tried to get rid of it, it would just come back. Finally, surrendering to his thoughts, he simply whispered, “Tomorrow.”
Lucifer III awoke the next day and began to head for the portal, as he walked out of his chamber, his father was sitting on the throne, again. Atropholis’ bed was in the corner of the room, he always stayed by the king, just in case if his master ever required his assistance. “I see you’ve awakened, are you ready to introduce yourself to the females yet, they’re all in the main dungeon where the devils like to gather, I assembled them earlier, and they seem eager to meet you.”
Lucifer continued to walk, “Shut up. I know, I can hear them screaming in excitement.”
“Oh my gosh! Did he just tell me to shut up again?!”
“Besides I’m not going.”
Lucifer III, was also eager, not to meet the other female devils, but to meet up with the angel that had been on his mind all day. He didn’t want to waste time, he wanted to get there as soon as possible.
“Well if you’re not going, who am I supposed to send? They want a buff and sexy devil, and you know the females can get rough if they become upset.” The king asked, for he worried about what the gathered females would do if they were to become impatient.
“Send Atropholis, he’s been so busy, I’m sure he’s never met many other devils, especially the females.” Atropholis awoke to the hearing of his name. He sat up and looked around, confused of the event that was taking place in his surrounding area. Lucifer III stopped and began looking around, he found a large chest and began digging through it.
“Atropholis!?” The king exclaimed.
“Yes Master..” he replied, but still confused.
“He’s not buff and sexy!” The King defended.
“Then make him buff and sexy.” Lucifer III said, pulling out a box. Atropholis then realized that the conversation was not directed towards him, but instead about him.
“Hrrrmmm... make him buff and sexy?” He swiftly turned to look at Atropholis.
“Ummm... What’s all that screaming....” Atropholis became nervous by being under the surveillance of his master’s glare.
“Yo, what’s this?” Lucifer III asked holding a box. The king turned his head to look at the object in his son’s grasp.
“What are you doing!? Put that back!”
“Why what is it.”
“That’s the heart I gave my first love.”
“A heart?”
“Of course, all devils give a heart to their first love.”
“What happened to her?”
“She made me mad, so I had her thrown into a fire, then I turned her into a dinosaur and sent her to Earth.”
“Sure.... whatever, this will work.” He got up and ran to the portal that lead to Earth.
“Hey wait! Come back with that!” The king shouted, but it was already too late, Lucifer had disappeared.
“Oh well, time to make Atropholis buff and sexy.”
Atropholis jumped at the words he just heard, “What?!”
But before he could say anything else, he was zapped and surrounded my a puff of smoke. The smoke cleared, and standing there, in the center of the cleared up smoke, was Atropholis. He was different now, he was now an inch taller than before. Silence filled the room.
“No! Don’t tell me I failed!”
A flame had suddenly taken over Atropholis’ body, and as quickly as it came, it vanished in an instant. Atropholis, still stood at the same height, but now he was buff, and sexy.
“Yes! It worked! Now go out there and make me proud.” He quickly shoved Atropholis into the crowd of screaming female devils and returned back to his throne.
On Earth....
Lucifer III sat on the same hill of sand as they both did the day before, ten Earth years had past, everything seemed to have a little more life in it then before. Lucifer put the box down in between his legs, he sat, waiting for her to come. When she finally did arrive, he had fallen asleep. She lightly giggled at the sight of him sleeping, the way he slept was nothing like the way angels slept, most angels slept silently and gracefully. He on the other hand had his arms and legs spread out as if he were too hot to touch himself. He didn’t snore, but his breathing was hoarse and loud. She sat next to him, she was scared to touch him, afraid to wake him up. He seemed to be sleeping so peacefully, and that’s something she didn’t like being disturbed, peace. His rugged, alpha-male look appealed to her, she wanted to touch him, but knew that she shouldn’t. Somehow, she managed to reach over, her hand drawing near his cheek. She could feel the warmth emitting from his body before their skin had even made contact. Her fingertips had only gently brushed against his cheek before the light sound of a smack had been made and her hand was stopped. He had grabbed her wrist. He opened his eyes to look at her, she seemed to be glowing, and he couldn’t tell if it was because she was an angel, or if it was because of the sun. He gave her a smile as he sat up. He gazed into her eyes for a short time period, even though it wasn’t long, his gaze was deep. His body suddenly shifted as he reached to pick something up. Her eyes copied, they shifted, following his movements.
“I got you a present.” He said handing her the box.
“Oh, you didn’t have to.” Her face lit up a tender light pink.
“Open it.” He smiled. As he watched her, his tail flickered in the sand.
“What is it?” She asked, not quite sure what it was.
“It’s a heart.” He said looking over her shoulder to see inside the box for the first time. It had hit him that it probably would have been smarter of him if he looked at what the gift was first. Inside, a heart was pumping. There was no blood, but it thuds coming from it were still strong, even though it was just pumping air. Even though it was a strange gift, it was a gift from him none the less. But because it was a strange gift, she wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do with it.
“What do I do with it?” She asked. He didn’t quite know the answer himself.
“I don’t know. Just keep it I guess.” He said. He turned to face the sea, the sun was once again, getting ready to set. He enjoyed having her close. Lucifer put his arm around her shoulder, and his tail around her waist, he pulled her closer and leaned her head against his shoulder. His touch had made her tense, she had never been touched by any male besides God before. She truly was the most innocent angel. But even though she was tense, she was able to relax because she found it to be comforting in his arms. She closed her eyes as she allowed her tension to escape her body. She soon opened her eyes again to watch the sun go down. The sea was no longer blue, it glowed a bright orange until the sun was no longer visible. Then it returned to being a deep blue, except, now it’s deeper and darker than before.
“Hey Lucifer.” she said looking up at him.
“Yeah.”
“Can I meet you here again tomorrow?” He looked down and smiled at her.
“I was just about to ask you the same thing.”
3,000,000 Earth years later.....
“Tell me, please! It’s been about 3,000,000 Earth years and you still won’t tell me who Serenity’s mystery man is!” God was indeed irritated with the scroll of heaven. Serenity had returned from the portal with Athilly.
“Hi father.” She said simply. She then walked straight to her room and laid on top of her silver and baby blue bed, as God continued to demand information from the scroll. Athilly had joined Serenity for the first time today with the meetings of Lucifer. And just as Athilly had tagged along, so did Atropholis.
“Wow, his looks are so intimidating. But he seems to be kind of nice for a devil, even though he’s most likely just like that towards you.” Athilly criticized. Serenity just simply smiled and nodded her head.
“Oh my gosh, and that Atropholis... he’s so buff and sexy!” Athilly sighed, collapsing on the bed.
Both of their eyes had began to drift close has they both exhaled. Serenity laid silently as she thought about the event that took place only a couple days ago. She had been laying down in a soft meadow by a tree, waiting for Lucifer, when a turned to see that a squirrel had began to approach her. She pushed herself up as she looked at the creature, it had seemed so carefree. Even as Serenity had moved, it bravely continued to proceed closer. She had then called it to come closer, the squirrels’ ears twitched at her calling. It began to pace faster, running towards her, when suddenly, a dark shadow appeared above the small critter. Lucifer roared as he landed in front of the squirrel, causing an the ground to crack right in between the animals’ hind legs. Terrified, it quickly scurried for the tree. Upset that he did such a mean thing to one of God’s creations, she asked him why he did it. He had turned to face her, the only answer that he could give was simply, “I thought it was going to attack you.” She was surprised that he had worried for her, even though what he did was indeed terrible. He walked over and sat next to her, he flashed her a smile that made her lose her breath, and then said, “I really do love you. I may not say it all the time, but I do”. That had been the first time he had been straightforward about his feelings for her. Even though after that event had occurred, every squirrel she had encountered had became to shy to approach her. Her thoughts had been rudely interrupted as God busted into the room shouting and pointing to the scroll in his hand.
“Oh my gosh! Today’s the day!”
Athilly and Serenity looked at him confused on what he was talking about. “Today’s the day for what?” They both asked at the same time.
“Today’s the day that your official considered PREGNANT!” God shouted.
“What?!” Athilly and Serenity said, surprised and shocked.
“So Serenity, I demand that you tell me who your mystery man is, and when you kissed him.”
“Kiss?” She replied puzzled. How did he know that she had been kissed, did the scroll tell him that. She had only been kissed a couple times, and it hadn’t been that long ago.
“Yup! That’s the only way that an angel can become pregnant. Even though it rarely happens because God made it so that the chances of actually becoming pregnant would be 1 out of 1,000,000,000. So it’s either that you must have kissed a lot, or you’re just lucky.”
“Athilly! Why didn’t you ever tell me this?! We haven’t kissed THAT much, I’d say the maximum would be about fifteen.”
“Wow, that really isn’t that much for 3,000,000 Earth years of seeing each other.” Athilly said, amazed at the number of times that she’s kissed.
God gave a blank stare, then proudly replied, “Of course she wouldn’t kiss a lot, I made her the most innocent angel, so that’s a perfectly reasonable number. But wow is she lucky to be pregnant. Oh my gosh! Do you know what this means?!”
Both Athilly and Serenity turned to look at him, neither said a thing and just waited for him to answer.
“It means that I’m going to be a grandfather for the first time! I’m so proud of you Serenity! You’re the first angel to get pregnant. But what I find really amazing, is that you did it in only 15 kisses! Oh goodie! Oh goodie! Oh goodie!” With excitement rushing throughout his body, he left the room to inform the other angels of the good news. He was so excited, that he forgot to about the child’s father.
Athilly began to jump up and down on the bed. “Yay! You’re pregnant!”
Serenity sat quietly with her hand over her mouth. “Oh my gosh, what do I do Athilly? What would happen if father were to ever find out that Lucifer is the father?”
“Oh... right.” The tiny angel had stopped jumping and began to think.
“I have to talk to him right away!” She quickly rushed up grabbing Athilly, pulling her along.
“Hey wait! Where are we going?!”Athilly screamed.
“We’re going to hell.”
“WHAT!? WAIT! WE CAN’T GO THERE! I DON’T WANT TO! NO!”
“I’m sorry Athilly, but I have to go, and I can’t do it alone.”
The tiny angel became quiet as she stopped resisting. “Oh... Okay then.” She gave a confident smile and began to think positively. “Okay then.. maybe I’ll get to see Atropholis.”
They had reached the forbidden portal, the portal that led to hell.
“Why isn’t anyone here?” Serenity asked, expecting it to be heavily guarded.
“Because after 5,000,000,000 years, they decided that no one was going to go through it because everyone was too scared too. If a devil were to come through, they would have to face God, and if an angel were to pass, they would have to face Satan. Simple as that.”
Serenity couldn’t wait any longer, she swiftly opened the portal and jumped through with her eyes closed. When she opened her eyes, she was surrounded by a cloud of darkness. The sky was filled with a deep and foggy red, the presence of evil was everywhere, and she could hear the mocking laughter of menacing devils. She stood in front of the Gates of hell. It was huge, and also unguarded. She slipped through a gap in between the bars, it was so huge, and the gaps were so wide, she couldn’t quite understand what it was supposed to keep out. She began to walk towards the black towering castle.
“I wonder where he could be?” She said, unsure of how to enter.
“Maybe he’s at the top.”
“Good idea.”They both tilted their heads back to look up top at the tower. There were holes within the castle, most likely used for windows. Serenity searched for the highest window, and when she found it, she quickly soared up into the sky. Before looking into the window, she jumped inside. There, a tall dark figure sat, staring at her in shock. She also stared back at him, but she looked at him without any fear.
“Lucifer?” She said, confused on why he looked a little different.
“Who are you!? And don’t address me so informally! It’s Master Satan to you fool!” He exclaimed pointing his finger at her.
“Is it just me, or does he look a little uglier and weaker.” Athilly asked, gripping onto Serenity’s arm.
“UGLIER?! WEAKER?! WHY, I’LL SHOW YOU WHO’S WEAK!” He created a ball of fire in his hand and was ready to launch it at her.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else.” Serenity replied calmly.
Lucifer was furious at her statement. He was the ruler of hell, everyone knew who he was, and who ever didn’t, was burned and sent to Earth.
“Why you little imbecile! Do you know who you’re talking to?! I am the King of all Demons and Devils! While you are a mere angel! Why have you come here!? To insult me!? God was foolish to send you here, because now you will face the same fate as my first love!”
He then vanished, and flashed before her face a second later. He slammed his hand against Serenity’s throat, smashing her into the wall. Athilly panicked and began to hit his arm, but yet again, her efforts were useless. Lucifer just smacked her away, sending her to crash against a round, drum-like door. The sound had echoed, and a few seconds later. The door had opened. From the dark shadow, Lucifer III had stepped out, following behind was Atropholis.
“What’s all the damn ruckus about?!” Lucifer had only began napping before he heard the thundering sound of something hitting his door. Both Lucifer III and Atropholis had looked down to see Athilly unconscious on the floor. He then turned to see Serenity’s neck in the grip of his father’s hand. He furiously walked over towards them.
“What are you doing here?” He furiously asked Serenity.
“Ahhh... Good, my son, you’re here... This disgraceful angel snuck in here from heaven, just to insult me. Why don’t you show me your power, son? Destroy her!” He commanded.
Serenity could barely talk with Lucifer II’s grip around her neck. “L-Lu-Lu-ci-fer...” was the only word that could escape from her mouth. No words had came from anyone after that. Lucifer III stood, his body on fire, rage flowed throughout his body.
“WHO IN HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!? DON’T YOU DARE EVER, TALK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!!” With the strong power that came from his voice, the same power was applied to his fist. His arm stretched back for a quick instant, and just as swiftly, it was plunged into his father’s face. Lucifer II had fell to the floor. Lucifer III picked Serenity up and returned to his room.
“Atropholis, bring Athilly into my room.” Lucifer had disappeared into the darkness of his room.
Stunned and on the floor, the king asked, “D-Did he just PUNCH me?!”
Atropholis simply nodded as he picked Athilly up and followed into the darkness.
“Oh my gosh! He did hit me! Why that damn son of mine, he’s going to be a greater king then me! I’m so proud of him!” Tears had began to flow from his eyes.
Lucifer III laid her on his bed, as Atropholis did the same with Athilly.
“Why did you come here? You know you would have gotten hurt.”
“I needed to talk to you.”
He gave out a sigh. “About what?”
“... Lucifer... I’m... I’m pregnant.” She softly whispered.
His eyes grew wide, but soon a smile came upon his face and he held her tight.
“Lucifer, what do I do?! What if my father finds out that you’re the father?!....” small drops of tears began to flow from her blue eyes.
“Just do what I do in these types of situations. Don’t think about it.”
“Lucifer, I can’t just “not” think about it. Besides, how can you be put in my situation. You’re going to be king, you can do whatever you want, and along with that, you can’t get pregnant.”
“You’re right, I can’t get pregnant, but because you can and you are, it matters just as much. Don’t worry about it too much. If your father doesn’t like it, I’ll be here to protect you.”
She smiled at the words that he spoke to her, he was so nice to her, and from what she just experienced outside of the door, she knew that he was only this kind to her.
“Lucifer.”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
Lucifer didn’t say anything. He just held her in his arms, and he held her close. She ended up falling asleep in his arms.
When she awoke the next day. She was in his arms, just as she had fallen asleep, but now, he was asleep too. She arose from the bed, then turned around, bent over, and gave him a kiss on his cheek. She jumped at the feeling of his arms pulling her closer. Her head rested upon his chest. She didn’t look up, and he didn’t look down, they both just smiled.
“Are you leaving already?” He asked, his hand rubbing her back.
“I have to, I’m ready to tell my father.”
“Do you want me to go with you?”
“No. I can do it myself. I’ll be fine, I promise.” He opened his arms freeing her.
“Then I’ll meet you on Earth again later on today?”
“Okay.” She nodded her head and returned to Heaven with Athilly.
Serenity approached God sitting at his throne.
“Ahhh... there you are Serenity.”
Her head was low, and she didn’t want to look him in the eyes. “Father, I have a confession to make.”
“Yes, I know, the scroll told me so last night, but it wouldn’t tell me where you were.”
“Father, I’m pregnant...”
“Yes, I know, I told you that.”
“And the father is...”
“Oh my gosh! It’s the moment of truth! Yes, go on...” a look of excitement took over his face.
“Lucifer III.” She said, looking at the floor, ashamed, and scared of his reaction.
The look of excitement was no longer on his face. “I see.”
“And last night, I was in Hell.”
He suddenly became worried. “Did any devils hurt you!? Are you okay?! Did anything happen to Athilly?!”
“We had a small incident, but we’re fine now.... Are you mad?”
“.... No, I’m not mad. That’s rule number 8 in my special book. I’m not allowed to be mad. I am disappointed though, but I suppose it can’t be helped. I’ll decide what your punishment is after the child is born. Let’s just hope he takes after you more than he would his father.” He then waved his hand to dismiss her and she just quietly left. She returned to Earth, and surprisingly found Lucifer waiting for her at the beach, the place they enjoyed spending their time the most.
500,000,000 years later....
Serenity had given birth to her child at the waterfall on Earth, the waterfall where she first met Lucifer. The child’s name was Adam, and he, was the first human. God had magically matured after Serenity conceived her son, he was indeed interested in the child, and had learned to love him. Adam was a good child, and for that, he created a companion for him, the second human, Eve. She looked just like Serenity, but both humans grew multiple times faster then any angel or devil. God allowed them to live on Earth, in the place they were born, he called it, The Garden of Eden. There, he gave them only one rule, a rule to take care of the tree of wisdom, and to never eat it’s fruits, for the tree was creating to represent the dinosaurs that were once destroyed.
Lucifer II’s time was up, the hourglass had dropped it’s last piece of sand. His soul was sent to Earth, sealed inside the body of a snake, his former body turns to ash. The hourglass falls, and Lucifer III is left to stare at the shards as they rise into smoke. It’s his time to rule, now nothing can be like it was before. Lucifer had snuck his was into the Garden of Eden, and led the humans to do wrong. They were banished for their betrayal, and were forced to leave the Garden. God had then decided Serenity’s punishment for her forbidden love. She was to become both Adam and Eve’s guardian angel. Never was she to see her forbidden lover again, and forever she was sentenced to watch over her creation. Lucifer III, who had now taken over the throne in hell, was now locked in, it was a rule, that the king was to forever stay in his realm to rule his kingdom. Because of this rule, he was prohibited from seeing his one love. He could no longer see her, and the closest thing he could get to her was their child. Because the population of humans had increased, Serenity could not watch over them all at once, so while she was attending to one, another would be suffering. And for that reason, humans die. So Lucifer had sent devils out to do their work, it was a war, a war between him and God.
Those who followed the devil, would live in hell with Lucifer Satan III. While for those who obeyed God’s commands, were allowed into heaven. Humans had the right to choose where they would go after death on Earth. And the way they chose it, was though the way they lived. But which ever way they chose to live, Lucifer would never be satisfied. His heart ached for the one thing he couldn’t have, and that was just something he was forced to bare with, because sometimes happily ever after is in someone else’s fairytale.
