Just Another Day (A Short Story done out of Boredum)
As the subject says, this is a small drabble I wanted to do with Naruto characters. I hope you like it! Please don't flame me!

*****

Iruka Umino sighed as his students walked out of his classroom. He sat as his desk and put his head down, exaustion coming quick. "Chomaru is going to kill me one of these days," he mumbled into his desk.

"You can't die Dad! Mom can't raise all of us on her own!"

Iruka picked his head up and smiled at his son, Kisaku. The younger boy was nine years old, his most responsable of his sons and, unlike his sister Hisui, thinks before he leaps. Iruka always knew his son would act like him.

"I'm kidding Kisaku," Iruka chuckled.

"Good," Kisaku grinned as he got his things together. "So are we going home today? Or do you have papers to grade and can't take home?"

"We can leave. I graded papers during the last ten minutes," Iruka replied.

"That quick?!"

"Yep. After grading for years, you get better and better."

"Can Mom grade that quick?"

"Maybe. You have to ask her."

"Then let's go! I wanna ask her!"

Someone poked their head in. "Hey Dad, Kisaku!" Hisui grinned. She was 14-years old, having become a genin two years before. After training or missions, she normally dropped by the Academy to walk home with her father and brother.

"Sis! Dad can grade papers in ten minutes!" Kisaku exclaimed running up to his sister. "Did he do the same when you were in school?"

Hisui truned her lip up and glanced up in her thinking expression. As Iruka got closer, he noticed Rira did the same. "I think he did," Hisui replied to her brother. "Now let's go home. I had to chase a puppy..."

"In that case, let's get out of here," Iruka said.

"I'm thirsty Mom."

Rira felt Hiru's forehead. The six-year-old boy was running a slight fever again. Hiru was pretty sickly, and tended to get fevers every once in a while. But the family had leared that he would one day grow out of it.

"Here. Drink this," Rira said giving her son a bottle of cold water. The magenta-haired boy sat up and took the offered bottle before taking a big swig out of it. He gave it back to his mother before shivering.

"It's cold," Hiru sighed laying back down and covering up. Rira put the bottle on a nightstand near the bed.

"You go back to sleep. I'm going to go check on Mikazuki," Rira said standing up.

"Kay."

Closing the door, Rira walked down the hall and into another room. The walls were painted in light blue with clouds in random places. Little Mikazuki was sleeping in the bed in the far left corner of the room.

Rira walked over and kneeled next to the bed. She bent over and kissed the younger girl's cheek before getting up and walking out of the room. She walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to get started on dinner.

Walking into the kitchen, Rira walked over to the pantry and looked inside. Iruka walked into the room and noticed Rira. He walked over to his wife and wrapped his arms around her, making Rira jump. "How was your day?"

"Don't scare me like that!" Rira yelled.

"Sorry."

Rira turned in her husbands arms and kissed his lips. "My day was OK. Hiru is still sick though. But his fever is going down," she replied. "But enough about me. How was your day?"

"Chomaru was causing trouble again. He is going to be the death of me," Iruka groaned.

"I sure hope not," Rira pouted. Iruka chuckled and kissed Rira's cheek.

"I'm not going anywhere."

"Good."

Hisui walked in. "I'd like to get an afternoon snack. I hope you two don't mind," she smirked. "Wanna hear about my mission?"

"Sure Hisui," Rira smiled as she let Iruka go. "Help me with dinner."

Iruka watched as his wife and oldest daughter started on the evening meal before leaving the room. A sleepy Mikazuki walked down the steps, dragging a plush cat behind her. She spotted her father and reached toward him.

"Good afternoon Mika," Iruka said picking his youngest daughter up. "Sleep all day?" The young girl shook her head, her short, magenta hair slapping her face. She had grown to look like Hisui, only with a darker skin tone and magenta hair.

"Hiru's sick again. Will he be OK?" she asked,

"He's gonna be just fine."

"OK."

Kisaku walked into the room. "What's up?"

"I know you have homework, Kisaku."

"Did it in the last five minutes of class," the younger boy smirked. "That reminds me. Where's Mom?"

"Kitchen," Iruka replied. Kisaku walked into the kitche, leaving Iruka and Miazuki in the front hall. "Let's go find something to do, Mika," Iruka said to his daughter walking up the stairs.

Sorry it was short but it was just something I came up with. I hope you like it!
