Five thousand gold. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I've ever had this much money in my history in Gaia all together in one place, and that's kind of sad.
But come to think of it, actually, I might have had 7K once, but it was a long, long time ago, on a character far, far away (Sort of). My first character on Gaia Online was named Leddaline. It still exists today, but not as an indepent entity but instead as an empty, unused shell. Now, if you look up Leddaline on the handy dandy search bar you will find a female avatar, long curly hair, "evil" eyes that look horrible with its forehead, stark naked (Or as naked as any could be on Gaia Online)because I transfered all its stuff to this username for easy money. Looking back, I was an idiot back then. I dressed my avatar in an ugly black "Drop Dead Sexy" coat, black hoochie pants, a red salsa top, a coal gunner hat, and the 4th Amigo boots. I was drop dead ugly, in my present opinion. Kind of gothic-looking as well. (Yes, I know I wear black now, but I'm going for the "Arctic Grim Reaper" look! Besides, the cloak kind of balances it out.) My house was unloved and unfurnished because of my issues with Towns that have now gotten slightly better over time. I had a journal there as well, which I gave up on because I had no readers. (Coincidence?) Yeah, stuff sucked, but there was something I miss very, VERY much: I could play Word Bump.
I played that stupid game for long stretches of time; occasionally, I won items from it. I had heck of a lot of bachelor's credits with a few master's ones thrown in for variety. The funny thing was, I actually liked it. I loved playing Word Bump, and I loved the marvelous gold it gave. And one day...
It randomly froze in the middle of levels. In the beginning levels. It really made my gold earning time suck even more. And now, today, it doesn't award me money and apologizes for the inconvenience.
I hate you, Word Bump.
