we have been together through the tough time
and so i put it in this simple rhyme
the times we had side by side
and our friendship was gone because i lied

i thought you forgave me but i see now i am not
and not matter what i do i will be wrong in thought

what i had done cannot be forgiven
i still weep for you, but love is what keeps me driven
i've fallen for another but it doesn't matter
because i think this is all pointless chatter

still i ask what happened to all the times of laughter
did we let it die after one disaster

i just hope i'm still your friend
because i care for you until the end
i rili don't want our friendship to die
because i would fall apart knowing it was all a lie
