I wrote this story for my junior english class..Hope you guys like! <3:
If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is what my lousy day was like. I'm a mailman. Delivering little white pieces of hell to the rural world of America. I don't like mailing these little buggers to the seemingly uneducated people of this country. No one seems to appreciate the hard work I do just to make sure their mail gets into their stupid hands.
Everyday I have to deal with either big or small dogs. Can't ever tell which one is worst though. Most of the times its just those little rodent sized dogs that give me the worst problems. Damn little creatures. Whoever thought that those little things were good house hold companions were complete morons.
But dealing with those things doesn't compare to what had happend to me on this particular day. You see, I was out doing my own thing..Well, my own mailmany things anyways..When this strange little scarecrow of a boy comes up to me and starts asking me all sorts of questions. At first I thought I should just be polite and hold on a plastic smile until the little freak left me alone. Ten minutes flew by and the boy still wouldn't leave me alone.
I couldn't believe that this kid could go on asking about the same damn question! 'Do you wear long or short socks?'. My god I seriously did not understand this kid at all. So after the first ten minutes I started walking away from him to show that I didn't want to talk anymore. But the damn thing kept following me, still asking questions! So finally when I got to my car, I told the kid that if I give him some, will you go away?
Little did I know that the father was watching me the whole time and as soon as the boy got close to my car and reached for the candy, the huge bright tomato man came bounding out of his home with a metal bat in hand. Sometimes life plays a mean card and it never does turn out pretty.
