Brittany's Journal of Meaningless Ramblings
This will mostly be random outbursts, my day-to-day ramblings/rants and the rare events that happen in my boring life.
Untitled Story: Chapter Three
Misery, you insist that the weight of the world

It was heavily wooded with large trunks everywhere, and it took forever to find a clearing. It was just a small one, with mossy rocks surrounding it. The grass was overgrown and there was a small hedge with black berries growing off of it. The snow wasn't heavy here, as the trees had blocked much from falling to the ground. It was just a light powdering of snow, which Michael had disturbed, bringing his nightmare-ish appearence to the peace and serenity.
A squirrel turned its head to look at him. Michael frowned at it and stamped at the snow to make it go away before he grew hungry. Squirrels were too fuzzy and cute for him. It was hard enough to eat meat, anyways. But being half-demon, he was forced to. His urges to kill were far too strong.
He wasn't cold at all, really he was burning up. Even as it started to snow. His breathing was ragged as the night continued on and he grew more hungry. Living off of blackberries wasn't possible.
There was a doe standing, grazing. He saw it to his right and immeadiately his lust took over. He crept through the trees, careful not to step on twigs. His feet carefully chose their spots and with a great leap, he tackled the doe to the ground, snapping its neck with ease. His strength was multiplied by a reasonable amount and he heaved the food over his shoulder, walking back to the clearing.
As he looked into those lifeless eyes that already had cataracts in them he cringed and was thoroughly disgusted with himself. He put off eating for a great while. But his hunger clawed at his insides and he gave in. He ate the raw meat, not thinking it foul at all. In fact he enjoyed it, strangely enough.
All night he relished in the fact that he was going to be human again. It made him happy when he realized he was still human. Still could feel emotions and wasn't completely demonic.

Should be on your shoulders...

aah. You're welcome. Yea I think it was too easy. There was too much lee-way/ not enough rules. So you could've done almost anything and gotten away with it.
