It was a late night in Resembull. A quarter til 11:00 P.M. iI was sitting on the porch with my dog Den, patting his head softly as i gazed down at my feet. My grandma, Pinako, had just gone to sleep for the night.
As i sat there with Den, i was replaying old memories, sad ones, that had just happened over this past month with Edward and I that i couldn't get out of my mind. I had been upset for the past month from my broken heart.....
A few moments later, something in the bushes a few yards away from our home startled Den. He lifted his head up and sniffed the air, letting out a soft growl. Quickly, he stumbled to his feet, and dashed into the house with a whimper. I lifted my head up from looking down at my feet and looked toward the bushes and saw a shine of eyes coming toward me. The moon hit the figure just right and i saw who it was.
"Envy....." i said softly from my tears that i have shed earlier. "Well....If it isn't the "shrimps"girl....what are you blubbering about?.." he asked in his usual snotty tone.
I stood up quickly, my fists clutched at my sides, my head hanging down, my hair dangling over my face like a vale. I then said starring at the ground in a deep angered tone," I'm NOT the "shrimps" girl...." This surprised Envy as he took a step toward me and unfolded his arms," What did the shrimp do now?...You two have a bicker or something?," he said with a chuckle.
I didn't reply, i just continued to stare at the ground, but then i finally told Envy about how Ed and i were once a couple....something just made me open up and tell him, and how he felt as if we should just be friends, left me, and ended up with his ex again. Envy was silent for a moment, a strong silence was there between us both, until i spoke. "I want this pain to go away...........all of it......I'll do anything," i said looking down still. I then slowly lifted my head up til my eyes met with Envy's.
"Envy....would you help me...please...rid me of this cursed pain that stabs my heart and soul....i'll do anything...please? Would you?" He chuckled and smirked an evil grin, "...Hmmm..and what if i do...?What am i going to get?" I tilted my head down again and said softly, "What do you wish...." "What do you offer me?," he starts to circle me slowly.
Finally he comes to a complete stop in front of me. He then cups his hand under my jaw and then tilts my head up with a jerk as i gaze into his eyes, his smirk still upon his face. "Anything to make this damn pain go away!," i let out as my final answer. The smirk gets a bit wider and he seems to pull me closer and then says softly, "Well then, you'll stay with me...."
I let out a soft gasp and then still gaze at him as i slightly drop my head in his hand, "...as you wish..." He lets go of my jaw and i stare at the ground, he reaches into a pouch on the side of his hip and pulls out a few red stones. Smirking, he holds them out and places them into my hand, "Here....eat them..ALL of them...."
I gaze at the stones....a small tear forming in my right eye but i don't. Memories of my childhood run through my head. Happy times of when Edward, Al, and i use to play together. The hard times when all of us were there for one another, and then that one day had to come up in my mind of when i got home and received that letter from...him. The one that made me feel as if i lost my entire world. My love was gone and an image of him hold her in his arms came into play as i growled in anger. That made me snap. i brought my hand up to my lips and part them, pouring the stones into my mouth and crunch them, swallowing each one.....changing my life...forever...
My body starts to change...my hearts stops. i fall to my knees and i pass out, when i wake up i look up to see Envy, standing above me telling me to get up. I jump up quickly with no facial expression, i seem to gaze into his eyes , like i trust him more than anyone right then and there. Not remembering anyone or who i was, or anything.
He grabs my hand and we quick as bees run off into the darkness back to the hide out of Lust, Sloth, Wrath, and Gluttony.
