Work is pretty much all I've been doing lately, so that's about the only place that interesting things happen. Like today's Coupon Lady, for instance.

So this obnoxious b***h (Elderly Woman for those of you who are PC) comes to my register with sixteen bottles of Suave shampoo.

That's right...16 bottles of Suave shampoo.

Anywho, she has $1.00 off coupons for each one with her and most of them are actually $.99, so the coupons shouldn't work for those particular entities. I let that slide though. Well, I ring the sale up and thanks to the fact that she tried to substitute in the $.99 bottles when you were supposed to buy bottles of $1.00 or more, it wouldn't let me use her last coupon since it won't give her money back. I tell her her total (A whopping $1.96) and she suddenly becomes indignant and starts going on about how she's not supposed to pay anything and they're all supposed to be free, yada-yada.

I hate annoying people who don't know what they're talking about.

I tried to explain things to her about the misuse of the coupons with the $.99 items, but she wasn't having any of it. She then attempts to proceed to tell me how to ring the sale "Correctly" so that she can get things for free when she doesn't deserve them. Well, this went on with her yammering and the customers behind her getting annoyed at her being an a**l little old lady until I finally call the Manager to void the sale and take the woman out of my sight and to the front of the store to ring the sale of her unGordly amount of shampoo.

And thus ends another exciting day in the life of Retail Boy: Gord of the Future!

Side Note: I hate when people can't read the 50 some odd signs around our store saying that we're turning the store into a SEARS Essentials and they feel the need to ask me, "So when are you guys closing?"
