Well, I finally finished Mortal Kombat: Deception Konquest Mode. It didn't actually take me that long compared to other games, but I still have to unlock about 250 or so more koffins. The Konquest mode was actually quite good, for the most part. I mean, I thought the voice acting sucked, or at least, having to have a big "cutscene" like thing every time you talked to someone wasted time, and some of the movements were kinda strange when compared with what was going on. Also, a lot of the reactions were kinda dumb, like when Hotaru meets Shujinko again, and how Shujinko never seems to even ask about his quest, and spends so many years for strange things. The last two battles though, were quite hard. Tanya had this annoying combo, which hypothetically could probably last forever, but what it did was to attack in a few punches and kickes, then use her special, then attack again, and she probably could have continued the combo. You also get no special attacks. When you fight Scorpion, not only do you have to beat him three times, he seems to have more health than you (or maybe that's just my mind thinking things up for why I kept losing) and he seems to be able to react faster than you (ditto). He did actually seem to be able to move faster though, since when both of us were moving, then I stopped and tried to block, it had to wait a moment before doing so, he seemed to be able to go right away. What I found disappointing was that I was still able to resort to the same cheap tactic in MK1, even though less effective in 3-D, simply dodging and using an uppercut worked best for me.

Overall though, the game was satisfying, and having a hard boss makes it more satisfying, although, if it's too hard, then it just becomes more of a "finally I beat that part" type of thing.
