Pashents walked down the halls with her head hung low. She'd been driving her self crazy with thoughts of Conner, that night playing basketball kept playing over and over again in her dreams. She had been thinking of his smile when she looked up to see him siting on the bench.
Conner heard footsteps coming down the hall and looked up to see Pashents walking towards him. He smiled and watched her as she drew closer. He could feel his face start to heat up a little... as the memories of them playing basket ball came back. It had taken him a while to admit it, but he hadn't been able to keep her out of his mind. He had been waiting for the time that he would be able to see her again. His smile grew, he noticed that she carried herself differently today. "H..hey." He said as she finally reached him.
She smiled stopping at the bench and taking a seat down next to him. Her posture more relaxed right as he smiled. "Hi..." she said with a smile. "Been practicing on that three pointer?" she asked jokingly.
Conner returned her smile, "Oh yeah. I'm getting really good at it." He leaned back, getting a little more comfortable. Or at least as comfortable as he could on the hard wood bench.
Pashents leaned back on the bench as well looking over to him." I'll let you get in a few more days of practice before I beat you again." She said crossing her arms over her stomach.
He chuckled softly, "I won't need too many days..." He said as he stretched his arm out and laid it across the back of the bench.
Pashents looked at his arm behind her then up to him with raised eye brows."Oh? that sure of your self hm?..." she leaned in a bit and lowered her voice. "Well I've been practicing too... so don't think that I haven't been getting better.." she said with a sly smile.
Conner grinned, "What can I say...I'm great." He could feel his mouth go dry as she leaned in closer in. "I...I'm sure you have been. I d...don't doubt your skills. I saw them first hand." As he talked all he could think about was how close she was to him.
Pashents looked down to his lips then up to his eyes . She nibbled on the inside of her lip with nervousness. "Then you wont be too surprised when I beat you again..." she said with a smile playing at the edge of her lips.
Conner watched her lips try and hold back a smile, he met her eyes again. "W...we'll just have to wait and s...see what happens." His could feel his body starting to lean in just a little more.
Pashents smiled, biting the corner of her lip. She could feel the air between them getting hotter. "Wait and see what happens with what?" She asked looking down at his lips again, her body scooting closer to him.
Conner was getting closer to her, "We'll see what happens.... between.... us..." He could feel the space between them slowly becoming less and less. He looked down and became so focused on her lips. He started breathing faster and they started getting shallow. He could feel her breath starting to warm his face.
Pashents looked up to his eyes and was thankful she was already siting, for she probably would have fallen from weak knees. "... us?.." She asked, glanced back down to his lips before looking him in the eyes. Her breathing was heavy as she inched closer to him, scooting her whole body closer to him.
Conner smiled softly and copied her moving his whole body closer. "Yeah....us...." He glanced up at her eyes and noticed just how stunning they were. They were so deep...he almost lost himself right there. The color was amazing and had him spiraling into them. He barely managed to look away, but as he did his eyes fell upon her lips. The were full... and such an amazing red. They were easily the most beautiful shade he had ever seen. The light seemed to glisten off them, right then all he wanted to was press them to his. He held himself back waiting to see if she would give him that wondrous sensation.
Pashents slowly slid her eyes shut, his lips the last thing she saw. She leaned in a bit more to where if one would even move a small amount their lips would come together. "I don't ...know about... this waiting thing..." She whispered, her lips brushing his as she spoke.
Conner's heart was ready to burst right out of his chest. "Then....don't..... wait....." Every word teased him more and more. Their lips brushing together....he couldn't stand it. His need for them to be pressed together kept growing and was almost unbearable. His eyes slowly shut a picture of her still vivid in his mind's eye. He stopped himself yet again and waited for her. He wanted her to choose...
"Hmm..." she mumbled still debating on what she should do, she could still pull back, friends have gotten this close to kissing before right? She was so confused with her feelings, that thoughts of her brothers death came to mind. All the emotions where in overload, and the next thing she knew she had silent tears streaming down her cheeks.
Conner's eyes stayed shut so he couldn't see what he was doing. He was so confused, but he knew one thing for sure.... All he wanted was her. All he needed was her. He couldn't stand it anymore he had to have her. One final thing he thought.... one final thing... He mouthed one last word. Though no sound came he knew that she would be able to tell what he had said.
Pashents could feel him mouthing please against her lips. To where this was enough acknowledgement of his feelings she filled the space between them, pressing her lips against his in a sensual kiss. Her mind was blown to the fact that she was actually kissing him, she went numb and couldn't tell what she was doing.
Conner's heart froze, there was nothing else besides them. He had wanted this so bad... and it was better than he thought it would be. It was simply....amazing. Nothing would ever be able to top this feeling. Without knowing it he leaned forward ever so slightly and pushed her lips firmer against his.
Pashents smiled into the kiss, she couldn't believe that she has actually kissed him first. She leaned in to him and placed a hand on his waist. She froze in shock of her self, she had made another move to a more intament friendship.
Conner smiled as he felt her hand on his waist, he held her kiss and moved his hand. He gently set his hand on her shoulder and slowly moved it laying it against her neck tangled in her hair.
