Shadows
Sorry if this poem depresses you, it was inspired by what I've learned over the past 7 years of my life.
There is to much pain and misery in this world, but it doesn't need to be there.
At least I don't think it does.
Shadows on All Sides
Covering All Living Things.
Leaving Plenty of Places to Hide
But no Way to Escape Anything.
I Want to Control the Shadow,
To Make Happy All That is Sad.
Needless to Say Because we All Know
This Would Just Make People Mad.
Humans Like the World to be Broken,
For the "Weak" to be Ignored,
For People Like us to be Forsaken,
For the Young to be Hungry and Poor.
I Ask Why we Can't Come Together
Just to Make the World a Better Place?
I Know This is How its Supposed to be,
This is the Shadow of the Human Race.
We Made the World This Way
By Being the Way we Are Today,
Perhaps its Best if we All Go Away
In Shadow we Should Let Our Sins Lay.
Let the Darkness Take the Earth,
All That we Have Destroyed,
Let us All Go to a Better Place
Where Nobody Will be Annoyed.
Let All This Torment End,
Let us All be Free,
Let the Curruption Go Away
So Everyone can be Happy.
Look at Some of the Children,
The Ones Who Don't Know Misery,
Think About the Future,
Where for Them Happyness is Fantasy.
I Ask Again Why we Can't Come Together
To Make the World a Better Place?
Again I Already Know This is how it Must be,
We're in the Shadow of the Human Race.
We Made the World This Way
By Being the Way we Are Today,
I Think its Best if we All Go Away
In Shadow All Our Sins Should Lay.
