Cry me a river of emotion, so i may ride the currents we call conciousness.
Walking this long road of pain is too much burden to bare,
way too much to understand,
a little too much life to die now.
She cries for self pitty,
she cries for self loathing,
she cries a river of shallow minded hate
towards herself and all who surround her.
This river carved a valley into her once stone mind,
and now,
she lives in that canyon,
only in the shadows of those who forgot her.
Maybe one day she will climb,
she will.
She will climb out of this dark hell,
this valley that flows her emotions.
If she doesn't, she will drown.
She will disappeare into the currents
we call conciousness,
until she can no longer feel.
The warmth of the water will melt
her thoughts 'til thought has no meaning.
And even when she knows she can't die,
her eyes are swollen,
her hands are soar,
her mind is numb,
and now,
her will is gone.
For all anyone cares,
she silently drowns in the river of love she cried
for herself an all who surround her.
