A True Friend
A true friend will love you in your weakness
A true friend will love you in your pain
a true friend will stick by you in hard times
and say
this is why I came
A true friend will give you their
shoulder to cry on
A true friend will offer you their words
A true friend will say
let me know when you're ready
A true friend will remain
So when God sends you a true friend
Don't hide behind your pain
and say I'm cool, I got this
Don't even be ashamed
We all have different challenges
and hills that we must climb
and pride is the last thing
that you need, right at this time
Thank God for True Friends
Be real even when it's hard
First start with the Best Friend
It has to be the Lord
And then He may send others
To strengthen you, foreal
He may send someone
you may not know
But, receive them still
Don't miss the friends that God
is sending you
Especially when you've prayed
Be Open and Thankful
for the friends
He sends your way
A true friend is a real friend
so receive this ministry
They'll act alot like Jesus
the way you'd want to be
so cultivate your virtues
they're getting a friend in you
if you want to have a true friend
you have to be real too.
