I am the best negotiator ever.

And.

Kim and Eric had a massive arguement earlier. Like, about to fight arguement. About how useless and damaging Eric is to the family. Because, he is. He got into a fight with dad the other day, dad left, went to Kims house so he could get bandaged up. Kim and Eric went at it for about an hour and then Kim left to go back to work (she came by to pick up a CD I burned for her).

Eric eventually called the parents to tattle, and cried. A lot. Me and Eric talked for a couple of hours after that -- on why.

He's unhappy. He hates his life. He'd shoot himself if he could.

So, we went through the reasons why -- and I went through the ways on how to fix them. The main thing was that he feels like everyone in this family hates him and that we can never get along. The main reason is, that he doesn't do his share and that causes a rift.

I told him about us going into DEFACs and told him about how me and Kim refused to go into a foster home that wouldn't take all four of us -- we wouldn't go to a home with a swimming pool, lots of rooms and such, if it wouldn't take our little brother too. We ended up sharing a room, with me and Kim sharing a bed, Steph in a bunk bed and Eric out in the hallway. Where we slept didn't matter, as long as we knew our little brother was okay and that we knew we'd be there if he needed us.

We talked about him meeting us half-way with everything. And he's going to start helping around the house more, and he's going to start trying more at school, with a personal goal of getting at least 3 As a semester and getting on the football team. Right now, he's cleaning up the kitchen -- taking out the trash, sweeping, loading up the dishwasher, etc. That's a massive improvement in just a couple of hours. Massive.

And, I hope it stays, and that he works on himself and grows up some more. I'd pretty much given up on him until this conversation we had, now it's safe to say I've had a change of heart.

We win. (: If we can have peace, we win. If he can get good grades in school and find out what he wants in life, he wins, and I'll be happy for mah little bro. If he gets super rich and famous playing a sport of some kind some day, I win, because I get a mansion and yoooou don't. XD
