Chapter one
Hellos and goodbyes

Mom why did we have to leave? I was so close to making a friend. Said Corema. Corema is a six year old demon with purple hair , cat ears, and blood red eyes. It was to dangerous. Said kofuku. I could have protected those people. I could have kept us safe. Said Corema. No Corema! I couldn’t bare loosing you. Kofuku is Coremas foster mom. She is human with long black hair, and big blue eyes. Kofuku started thinking about the real reson she took corema away from there village. Im going to take her back kofuku. Its almost time for her powers to really come out. No! no no no ! ill never give her back! Ill never let her go!
Mom… MOM! Yelled Corema. Oh sorry I was thinking about something . what did you need? Ummm…. Mom we passed my play house. Oh danget! Kofukuturned the coach around and stoped in front of a long building. Do you want me to go in with you? Asked Kofuku. No ill be fine. Im use to it by now. Corema walked in and the first thing she saw was some boys tossing a ball back and forth. Wile one boy rean back and forth to get the ball. Corema thought that they were playing a game. Then she saw that the boy was crying, and the other boys were teasing him about his ears. He has ears like mine. Thought Corema. You couldn’t tell Corema was a demon. Only because she learned how to change her hair with her powers, and she had a hat on to cover her ears.
Corema came out of her state of thought just in time to see the younger boy get shoved down. Hey do you want some help? ….. hey you with the dog ears im talking to you. You want to help me? Asked the boy. Ya I hate bullys. Now do you want me to help you get your ball back or not? The boy nodded. Hey will you please give him back his ball? Asked Corema. Heck no why would I want to do that? All right we will just have to do this the hard way. The boys looked confused. The boy looked down into his hands. “The ball’s cone! He yelled. Its not gone its just returned to its owner. The boy started to run forward and punched Corema right in the stomach, but she didn’t move. The boy staggered back clutching his hand. The little boy walked up to corema and said. “what did you do to him?” “oh nothing… I just shattered his hand. Corema had a smug look on her face as the boys ran away. Suddenly the wind blew hard and knocked off her hat. As soon as her purple ears were shown her hair turned back to its normal color.
Your… your just like me. Said the boy. Corema was crouched on the floor trying to hid her ears. Why are you trying to hid the? Asked the boy. Because…. Because I hate not being normal. That’s what these ears make me is not normal! Yelled corema. As she starts to burst into tears. Don’t cry. Im the same way. Your normal to me. Said the boy in a soft tone. Corema looks up at him and a smile starts to appear on her face. Thanks… my name is corema. What’s yours? She asked. Inuyasha… wana be friends? He asked back. As he helps Corema to her feet. Corema nods her head and wipes the tears from her eyes. . . I would like that. Said Corema. Me too. . I have a question corema. Said inuyasha. What is is? Asked corema. How come your ears are purple but your hair is black? I don’t get it.
Well said corema. Ive learned with my powers how to chang my hair color… but I haven’t figured out how to change my ears.. thats another reason why I wear the hat. She responded. That makes sence. I hope im not prying but. . . what are your parents? Asked inuyasha. Corema looked at him with a confused look oh her face. I mean what are they to make you half human and half demon? Oh. Corema looked down at the ground and said. I don’t know… im adopted. Oh im so sorry I asked. Said inuyasha slightly blushing at his stupidity. Its okay. . . I like kofuku and yamito yoko for my parents… but we move a lot so I never get to make any friends. Said corema. Well at least you have parents. Said inuyasha. What are you talking about? Asked corema. My father died saveing my mother when I was born, an dmy mother died just last year from some sickness
… oh im sorry. I wish I knew my real mother… even though I love kofuku. I just wont to know what I am. And why im not normal. Said corema. My foster mother told me that ive started floating in my sleep, and my eyes glow red when im mad. Sometimes how I feel is reflected in the sky. I wish I could controle it. Said corema as her eyes went back to the ground. Corema! Called kofuku. Oh I have to go. See you tomorrow. Said corema as she ran to her mother. When she reached kofuku. She had a strange look on her face. What is it mama? Asked corema. Who is that boy? What does he want? Asked kofuku. Oh that’s my new friend inuyasha. I helped him get his ball back from some other kids. He asked if I wanted to be friends. Said corema. Does he know about your ears? She asked. Yes. . . hes the same way. I feel. . . normal around him. She responded. I hope hes not… kofuku went off in thought and memory. I will come for her. Said coremas real mother. When asked kofuku? You’ll know. Mama? . . . MAMA! Yelled corema. Huh? What Is it sweet hart? Isn’t dady coming home today lets get home fast. Said corema. All right said kofuku.

ONE YEAR LATER

Who’s there? Asked kofuku. Its time. I’m taking her back. Said coremas mother. Who do you think you are! I adopted her and made her my child! I’ve raised her! Yelled kofuku. Are you also the one that made her think that purple hair and cat ears are not normal! Yelled coremas real mother. Kufuku lowered her eyes to the gound in shame. You have to let her come back home. Where4 I can teach her and prepare her for the throne when I finally pass on. She said. Mama. Said corema as she walked out of the house and grabed kofukus hand. Who is this? Hello corema. Her mother knelt down and held her arms open to welcome her in. coremas eyes eye’s got wide and tears came to them as the memory of this woman came back to her. Ma… mama! Corema burst into tears and ran to her mother. Kofuku fell to the gound ashamed that she tried to keep corema away from her real mother. Kofuku your still my mother and always will be. Said corema. As she ran over to her and hugged the person that had been her mother for seven years.
Corema did you make any friends wile you were here. Asked her mother. Yes! I did finally make a friend. Then. . . then this will be harder than I thought it would be. What do you mean mama? I mean. . . you have to act out your death. After you leave a world you cant come back. In this case you can visit kofuku and yamato. . but your friend has to think that you are dead. Coremas eyes had a look of shock and depression.
I. . . ill do it. I want to go home with you mama. So I guess I have to. said corema. you can choose how to do it. Said her mother. Alright. Ill trick him tomorrow. Hey Inuyasha I want to show you something. Um. . . okay he answered. Follow me its up there. Corema points up to a ledge at the top of a mountain. Corema starts up the mountain and with there demon blood they have no problem climbing the huge mountain.
Corema started to run as they reached the top and she disappeared behind some trees. Corema wait up! Corema? suddenly he hears her cry out. He runs around the bend and sees corema knocked out on the ledge. .. now corema had planed to act like she fell off the cliff ino the river below, but something unexpected happened. She sliped as she ran and hit her head on a rock. Corema?. .. corema! no matter how much inuyasha yelled corema didn’t move. Inuyasha slid down the slope to corma. Corema? inuyasha reached out and touched cormas hand. When he did she started to pulse. He reached out and touched her again. This time the pulsations stoped, and there was a sudden flask of light. When inuyasha could see again. Coremas was close to the edge. Unknown to inuyasha corema woke up when the pulsations stopped, and she had to think fast. She now planed to role off the cliff. As she started to role Inuyasha ran forword and caught her hand just as she roled off. Corema looked up at him. He was just barely hanging on. Corema knew that she was immortal, but inuyasha isn’t. I don’t want him to die. She thought. Let go inuyasha. Said corema. no you’re my only friend. Im not going to lose you. He said back. Corema began to pull her self up. Inuyasha thought that corema was going to pull herself up. Suddenly corema bit inuyashas hand, and he loet go in pain. He had no choice but to watch her fall.
Coremas mother was at the bottom of the cliff. As corema floated gently to the gound. Her mother saw the tears in her eyes. She walked forward and hugged her daughter. I am so sorry you had to do that. She picked corema up and took her to her new home.
This is your new home corema. said her mom. Hey mom. . whats your name? asked corema. its.. kitana zagara. She answered. My last name is zagara! I like that… I like that a lot. So where’s daddy. Kitana looked at her daughter and said. You are not allowed to be around your father. Why? Asked corema. he is the one who lost you, and I will never let him hurt you again. Um. . . mom he didn’t really hurt me. If he hadn’t lost me I wouldn’t have met inuyasha. Corema was interrupted by her mother. And you would have had to fake your death in front of him, and now there is someone else in pain. Corema lowered her eyes to the ground. Im sorry I made you so sad corema. kitana couched and hugged her daughter close.
Kitana pulled away and looked at corema she remembered something. Hey corema I have a surprise for you. Corentio come out here please. A little boy with blood red eyes like coremas walked out of the house. He had cat ears and blue hair. Corema meet your twin brother corentio. Coremas eyes filled with tears as she looked at him, and corentio had a look of grate surprise. Corema ran forward and hugged the brother and friend that she always wanted.
From then till they were fifteen corema and corentio were best friends. No one would mess with corema. one because of her powers and two because her big brother was always there to protect her. Corentio had a reputation since he was three. A man tried to take advantage of his mothers sickness. He walked into her room and went over to kitanas bed. He saw a small boy standing in the room. He knocks corentio over and reaches for kitana. That’s the last time anyone saw him.
Now corentio is fifteen and someone thinks its funny to take advantage of corema being embarrassed that she is so different. As corentio sees his little sister on the ground covering her ears and crying as some boys teas her of her demon heritage. Corentios friends wouldn’t let anything happen to corema. corentios friends grabbed the boys teasing corema, and corentio grabbed the leader smashing him up aginst the wall. What do you think your doing to my little sister?! He yelled. What does it looks like im doing to her. The leader yelled back. Suddenly there was a knife in corentios side. He staggerd back against the wall and pulled out the knife and drops to the floor, and the knife slipped out of his hand.
Corema picked it up and studded it. A demon blade! Said corema in shock. Corema stood up facing away from the boys. Corema turned to the leader, eyes glowing red and fangs growing rapidly. Corema brought out her claws, and the leader was gone, or at least not enough of him to tell it was a person. Then she turned to the person that stabbed corentio. He started to run away and with bloody claws. . . he was gone. Corema went back to corentios side. Corentio? Im okay cor… I just need to get to mom… she can help me. Okay big brother corema picked corentio up gently and started twords the door. Um. . . corema? asked one of corentios friends. What should we do with these guys? Dispose of them any one who tries to hurt my family and friends doesn’t survive. Tem more people went missing that day, and corentio was the one being saved for once.
Corema burst threw the door of the house. Mom! Corentios hurt! He got stabbed with a demon blade! Yelled corema. what! How did someone get a demon blade?! Asked kitana. I don’t know. Said corema. you mean you didn’t question him? Well mom you cant exactly question someone that’s dead. Said corema. you killed him? Asked kitana. Not just him… all of them there the reason that corentio is hurt. When he got stabbed.. . I lost it, but I only killed the leader and the one that stabbed corentio. Korye and his friends took care of the rest. Said corema. I don’t care about them… im worried about you. Corentio has a reputation with killing people that piss him off, but for you to kill. . . I had hoped that you hadn’t inherited that from your father.
I was hoping that you would keep your sweet hart and your love for living things. . . but I guess its in your blood to kill. After all you are twins.. if its in corentio I should have suspected that I would be in you too. Said kitana. Mom will you quit talking and save corentio! Yelled corema! oh right. Kitana started to chant and corentio started to glow. Then he flouted lightly to the couch. He should be fine. Said kofuku. It’s a good thing you got him to me fast.. but mom if we are immortal what would have happened if I hadent gotten him to you quickly.? Kitana looked down at the floor. I would have had to send him to your father. I can heal a resent wound caused by a demon blade, but a serious and old one. .. only the man that created the demon blade can heal it. Wait a second. . . dad created the demon blades?! Why in the world would he do that?!
He wanted a simple way to kill his servants. Just in case they lost control of the powers he gave them sometimes zagara powers are to much to handle. Even for us. Im actually that you haven’t lost controle befor. . . wait today. . . said kitana. What about today? Asked corema. your powers when out of control. When you lost it and killed those two boys.
