No, not really... I just feel bad for the guys who are in both of my woodshop and english class. It's the sixth week of school and already they have D's. I'm just trying to help them out a little with homework help. I don't give them answers, it's more like "Ok, the question says -----, meaning --------. What do you think and what makes you thin that?" They actually get invovled by doing that last time. Today I helped one with his homework, and he actually just needed to listen to the definitions of the words in order to understand. I feel so proud...

I told them I would offer them help in 5th, but they know I won't do the work for them. Unlike the teacher, I tell them the question in simple terms. I wouldn't really care if it was anything else, but it's Senior year for us. I feel bad... I just want them to pass, and if I can help maintain their D's or even get them to a C, great. I don't want to know that someone near me flunked when I have the power to help them some how, in some way.
