Today I have another place form Haunted Pennsylvania. By Mark Nesbitt and Patty A. Wilson. It is called the Baleroy Mansion and it is located in the Cherrynut Hill section of Philadelphia. The house was built in 1911 and it is considered on of the most haunted places in the United States. It is also considered the most haunted place of Pennsylvania.

The house is now owned by Mr. George Meade Easby whose family bought the house in 1923. He believes that the house is haunted and has had many firsthand experiences to the haunting; one of these was when he was a child. It happened when he was 6 years old. He and his younger brother, Steven, were outside looking at the water in the fountain. When suddenly Steven’s face looked like a skeleton’s, before it quickly changed back to normal. Then a month later young Steven died. But George thinks that he is not gone.

One night George was entertaining guest when suddenly he heard a crash come form upstairs. When he and his guests went to investigate, they discovered that a picture of Steven had flung itself 15 feet from the wall it had been on. There has also been a report of a young child being seen by the water fountain which is supposed to look like Steven.

Their has also been another haunting of one of George’s family members. His mother has tried to send him messages through the other side. With the help from a physic, he was able to find precious family heirlooms that the physic said his mother told her to go.

Not all the spirits in this house are nice though. One of them is a malevolent one. She seems to be bonded to a certain chair in the blue room of the house. The spirit is called “Amanda,” she is said to appear in the form of a blue smoke. People that have seen this smoke say they have seen the same woman everywhere they go, in the corner of their eye. This then causes the person to lose sleep and become ill and possibly die. The chair that Amada seems to haunt also isn’t good. There have been 3 people that have sat in that chair that a week later has died. Luckily the owner has put a cord on the chair to prevent anyone from sitting on it.
