~(nya!) Haruhi's journal~
There's not really much to say.... I'm an anime addict currently trying to find out all I can about anime (or Japan ^-~). Sort of on the shy side (not so much on the net), but I love all my friends a ton.... *giggle* Really anything can intrest me!
Fall-ing
We're finally writing poetry in class! 4laugh *sparkle* They're due tommorow and I really want to do one of them, but seeing as I don't think it'll work, I've decided to do another one instead.

They slowly brush the ground
And hardly make a sound.
Swept up in purest glee
By winds that sing to me.
Yet crimsons turn to gray
Where browns and yellows lay
Softly dancing among the trees.

Still some green longs to stay
Until chills send colors away.
The harvest is almost done
And Winter will surely come,
But still they silently pound
Tattered feet upon the ground.

For when the new buds sprout
They still long to fall away.
Not simply out of hatred,
But from joys yet untold
From the wonders of freedom
Scattered throughtout chills of air.
Longing for what is still unknown
They leave their green color
For a clear path shown.
It's marked in their veins
As they fall gently to fade.
This reeping leaves trees empty
And allows death to be shared.

(The last stanza might be taken out if I do this one.)

Splash of blood upon her gown
Yet what I see is still unknown.
Crimson stains that slowly brown
Are burning deep against her brow.
Laying still, the maiden weeps.
Into shattered bones, darkness seeps.
To see her fade and hear her cry
When once her heart breathed golden sighs.
She whispers gently drawing near
To thoughts that made nectar appear
When love once made her fresh and light
Before it turned to blackest night.
Yet she waited in silence,
Deepest passion she still feels!
Romance dipped within pure sunlight
And a spring to her heels,
But what did it matter
To the heart he possessed.
Could he care if she's pleased
When there's more he carassed?
Taken a back by sheer pleasure
She agreed to be his wife.
Yet the secrets he hid
Brought the plunge of a knife,
So now she lays still in a tattered gown.
Her pale skin is thinning
Stained red, yellow, and brown.
Only time knows how long she will lie
For when it becomes winter,
The Fall maiden shall die.

*sniffle* I still stick by the one I want to do even though it most likely won't work.

Wow. I mean, wow. The second one is a little bit morbid, but still, they're great! I really am impressed. My teacher would probably be impressed also. I'm having a hard time just doing a simple poem about an object. What's the one you want to do?

Thank you! *hugs* The second one is my favorite. It has too much symbolism to work for a problem, so I had to do the other one.

*hugs back* Well, I'm sure you'll get an A!

Hopefully. Thankfully, I didn't have to write more today since she wanted everyone to have 10 lines. It might be counted as a test grade...

I would rather do your assignment than mine. I have to write the next page of my research paper that I've been putting off for about a month.

I'll trade. Either one would be fine. We get to do the DAR essay for extra credit! I'm syched 'cause it's on a good topic this year! Hooray!

Well, it's an 8-10 page research paper on video training and how it's more effective than regular training. So, it's a pain. Good job! Sounds interesting. No idea what it's about.

Mwaha! Bring it on! I'd do it if we had assignments like that. *sparkle* There's not too much writing this year since the writing test was last year. Sort of sad. Daughters of the American Revolution hold an essay contest each year starting with either 5th or 6th grade and continuing up through the grades. This year it's I Spy where you write from the point of few from a Loyalist or Rebel spy. Luckily, I finished a book not too long ago called the Hollow Tree that was based upon a spies message to a general. It'll help out a ton.

Wanna do it for me? Just kidding. I don't wanna do it, but I have to. Wow. That actually sounds like fun. I'd almost want to do that.

stare I'd do it, but you'd have to be an eighth grader for a while. Have fun with it seeing as that'll never happen! This year just happened to be good. The past two were terrible. I don't even remember what we did last year, but it was much worse.

Sure. A chance to get away from this year? I'd do it in a heartbeat. Well, since it's not gonna happen, I will! xd They were probably better than our prompts.

You'd be too tall anyways. Well, one was on Benjamin Franklin's inventions. The other had something to do with ships.

Now taht's just mean. I've always been tall. Granted, I wasn't this tall in 8th grade, but still, I was close to 6'. Still, those prompts are better than ours. Ours are all about if school uniforms should be enforced for public school.

I've been acting too harsh. I'm sorry, Michael! There's other reasons of course why you wouldn't fit in, but I'll leave that subject alone. School uniforms can make good topics on certain occassions. However, they are boring usually.

Ruffles hair. It's okay Ann. *kisses* It wasn't that mean. Actually, knowing what I know now, 8th grade math would be very boring. Unless of course it was Algebra I. Then it would just be an easy A in no time at all. School Uniforms are good for one year. Not year after year after year.
