I'm more independent now. I have a boyfriend who lives just down the street, and of course, I broke up with Derek. I got a job at the local Food City as a cashier. I got my first paycheck, so whoopee. $65 goes into my wallet for only 12 hours of work. It was originally about $73, but that was before taxes. Nyeh~ Government.
Working from 2pm-7pm tomorrow. I'll probably get my own register. I made some new friends like Taylor, Steve, Sandra, Plissa, Amber, A.P., Seth, and Kelly. I think I also got my first "regular." He kept complimenting me on how a nice and considerate girl I was and how nice it was to meet me and he hopes for me to ring up his groceries again. Nice guy. Hopefully I'll get a merit for it.
I'm becoming social. O.o;
I bought my mom a surprise yesterday. A mini-rose bush. She really liked it. I've been in a really good mood since my new job and my great boyfriend...I just wish my dad was here with me. He's in Florida with a new job now. -_-; So he'll miss a lot. My first car, he missed my first job and paycheck. I miss him a lot.
I've become very, "family oriented." I hang out with my mom a lot, and I talk to my cousin lots. I also chat and help my grandmother out. I'm good at listening to her no matter how crazy it drives me. xd Ah well, she's family. surprised
cool I'm leaving for Florida next week, so Food City has got me working 5-7 hour shifts a day until Wednesday. Good training for me, but hell, it's going to be a pain.
I'm going to go find my friend something really nice for her Sweet 16 next weekend. That's the reason why I'm going all the way to Florida, just for her Sweet 16. heart She's like my sister, and has been my best friend since 5th grade, so I'm getting her something really nice. wink
