Welcome to my World
Unlike other blogs and journals I have, I plan on using this one to post random stories and poems. Who knows...I might even post some random reviews on literature or just some workshops. And All Rights are Reserved to me, the author.
Untitled; Adriene vs. Vincent
She slammed into the back of his head. He dropped to his knees. She grabbed the top of his hair. He gasped for air as she pulled back.
"Look at me Vincent. I said LOOK AT ME!"
He opened his eyes and stared at her.
"You know how long I have been waiting to torment you. To kill you. But if you were to become a good little boy, none of that might not have to happen."
With those last words dripping from her mouth, she pulled his chin towards her. If she pulled his head back any farther, it would surely snap off. As she started to lean in for a stolen kiss, he spit right into her face. Rage flared in her emerald eyes and within seconds, his head got acquainted with the cement. He laid there, feeling his head throb harder and faster than his heart. As he climbed onto all fours, he felt the drip of his blood slide down a cheek. He was getting dizzy, but he needed to stay focused. He needed to stand up but before he could muster the energy, she came back and kneed him in the stomach forcing his body to fall again. He laid there momentarily. All he could taste in his mouth was copper. He was in pain and dizzy. He had enugh of the rough housing, so he stood up. Standing there he just spit out is juicy blood, and wiped his mouth clean. He looked around but it was difficult due to the blinding light. If he was going to get his job done and leave there alive, he needed to take the light out first.
"Oh! Look boys. We have a hero. Mr. Vincent wants to fight for his freedom. I think we should raise the stakes. How abou-"
"Shut up Adrienne! The only person leaving tonigh
"t will be me. You have abused your power for the last time tonight."
"What did you say to me?"
"I said Shut up little whore and your going to die."
Laughter but not his own.
"You can't kill me Vincent. You know better than that. I am immortal. A lovely gift from the gods bestowed to yours truly." She bowed down with the last words.
"Immortality has been abused long enough by you. And its because of you that I was sent here."
"Sent here? Now who would send a worthless night terror to a demi-goddess?"
"Yea...I was sent here for the job to kill you and return the gift. The gods themselves are angered at your actions."
"Stop your lying. Its viable to get you into trouble."
"What's wrong? You seem so unsure."
"I have no reason to be. Terath wouldn't do that. He is protecting me and he is the one who gave me the gift. Therefore, he is the only one who can take it back."
"Boy! Do I have bad news for you. Terath has been exiled. The gods have taken his power. They no longer recognize him or any one who has anything to do with him."
"NO! ITS ALL LIES! I just talked to him..."
"Too bad. So sad. Hand it over."
"You think its going to be that easy?"
"Why not? Your on your own. Your lover has disappeared in fear of punishment. Your minions have even run off."
"Them! I do not need them. I don't need Terath. I have the power of immortality."
Within moments the battle had began. She slid her leg under him but he managed to jump back onto the wall. He crawled up the wall to the ceiling. He could barely see and focus on his target. It was that damn light. He needed to get rid of it if he was to win this battle tonight. Seeing as how he was a creature of night. He could see her running towards the wall, jumping higher and higher each time. There was no time to waste. He flung himself towards the light. He outstretched his claws clawing the light into little glass shards, creating the darkness of night.
Landing on all fours, he stood up. Glancing at his claw, he would have to tend to those wounds later. He glanced up, switching his vision for the new accomodation. Feeling more comfortable, he couldn't find her.
"Now, now Adrienne, its over. Give it up and you can live..."
"As a mortal...no thanks."
Hands were clasped around his throat with nails pressing against flesh, anticipating death. She whispered with warm breath in his ear, "Vincent, I would rather die than be a mere mortal. What would be the point to just wither away and become dust?" She pressed harder, sending shudders down his spine. "Please, darling Vincent, try to understand. I don't want to draw any more blood tonight. my thirst for it wo.uld only become stronger." She nibbled on his ear playfully. Teasing and Taunting him. They both could feel the frequent shudders he was trying to suppress. He didn't like them. She was toying with his natural, wild, animal instincts. He needed to stay focused. He had to maneuver away from her clutches, literally, to get the job done. It was like a little ballroom dance he did to get free.
