The power pinning me to the floor dissappates. I jump to my feet. His hard, cold hand grabs my left upperarm before i can run.
"I don't think so. We had a deal." he said, with a dark look on his face. It contorts his features, making it look much darker than it had a second ago.
"I wasn't going to run. I stick to my word." I reply. I wouldn't leave Yukito to die by this vampire's hands. Besides, he could snap my arm right now with no effort at all. Elves are faster than vampires and werewolves alike, but vampires are 30 times stronger.
"Good." He pulls me around to face him. I look at his toothy grin with no expression on my face. I won't let him see my fear. I'm terrified of him. Vampires give off a bad vibe to all creatures; they're dangerous and my instincts know it.
His hand slowly travels down my arm to my waist. His hand stops in the small of my back and he draws me close to him, until there is only an inch of space between us. His other hand raises and grasps the back of my neck, turning my face to the side, and pulling the hair that has escaped from my ponytail away exposing my neck. He leans down until his face is touching my neck. He inhales deeply through his nose, taking in my scent.
"Would you hurry up." I snap at him. He chuckles.
"Are you afraid? Am i taking to long?" I remain silent, refusing to admit my fear to him. He chuckles again. "Fine. I'll hurry." He exhales in a sigh, then inhales again, brushing his nose against my jawline. A shiver runs down my spine at his touch. He chuckles once more.
Two sharp pains run through my neck like small pockknives have been stabbed into my skin. I yelp in pain. My hands grip the front of his black trenchcoat and the black dress shirt underneath. My knees buckle, and the hand on my back tightens, holding me up. I can feel my lifeblood being sucked out of the holes in my neck.
I don't know how long it takes before I start to feel numb. I relax my body, giving in to the blackness. My mind drifts into unconciousness.
