Like OMG! I passed my exam!
I so totally passed my Math B exam with a 65!!!!!! I'm like...siked. Normally I would be upset. Like...if it was any other class then I would be like "Aw crap...I only got a 65." But...you guys just can't understand how hard math is for me. I may even be a candidate for Sylvan Learning because I suck just that much. (and stupidly enough, I'm going to attempt to take pre-calculous next year). So yeah, a 65 is like...so totally awesome for me. My friend heard that there was a huge controversy with it and that there will be a huge curve so I might even get a 70 or something. That would so totally rock.
In any case, I'll now get my advanced regents diploma so it'll be even easier for me to get into the college that I want to go to. (Woo hoo! Go Houghton Christian College! Woot!)
So yeah. In other news, our school will have it's first boys soccer team ever next year and my brother is already guaranteed a spot. It's kinda crazy though. Nobody else in my family is like...a jock or anything. (except maybe my dad in college but he was still a geek...) And my brother pops out from nowhere and becomes all healthy and a running/weightlifting freak and now he's gonna be in soccer and stuff. I mean...where the heck did that come from anyway?? When did my younger brother become so cool?
Anyway, his diet would scare away lance armstrong probably. He takes his normal vitamins (about 10 different vitamins plus a multi-vitamin pill) and he drinks protein drinks before and after weightlifting or running (he has a blender in his gym locker) and to top it all off, he takes fish oil and flaxseed oil pills and stuff to build muscle. He's insane. I guess he's become a pro at taking medicine though. When he was younger (ie. 6th and 7th grade) he had lots of medical problems such as a hernia and stuff that just kinda appeared. Then he broke his clavicle (collar bone...I'm a doctors' child) and had to take lots of meds then too so he's just used to it. But anyway, I told my earth science teacher about his diet and he even grossed her out. >_> Yeah.
Well that's my news for now. Life sucks but at least it's summer vacation and I'm mostly free now except for my piano recital on Monday. Wish me luck, I'm playing 4 different pieces (including one I wrote called 'thoughts of home') and I've never played that many at one concert. It's crazy.
