It's been fifty years since the known world became caught in the revolution known as "The Machine Stampede". In these years industry took the world by storm,factories burned with the heat of coal,electricity flourished in the homes of the rich,machines called automobiles became the "new" horses,etc.
But these advances could only hide the terrible past the world had to endure fifty years ago.A great battle was fought between two great powers in the wake of "The Machine Stampede".Those who believed that the world was dependant on change were called "Legion" and those against it were called "The World".Both of them fought in an endless fight as both sides tried desperately to destory each other.Until an unknown power rose from the Legion's side.A power so great it changed the face of humanity and world itself.
A power that killed thousands,destoryed cities and ultimately even burned the skies causing unnatural storms of ash and dirt.A power known only as The Dawn.
Now our lives is consumed by the struggle.Magic and Machinery...Sorcery and Science. Fifty years later peace had already resumed its course...
But for how long will it last?
-Setting-
The capital city is where the story begins,although it has no offical name. It's just called "Capital" by some of the leaders who reside here.The city is a great metropolis which combines a vast growing number of machinery and victorian style architecture.The skies are colored brown due to the dirt and polution.This caused the entire city to be covered in a light brown fog which stretches into the outskirts of the metropolis.The center of the Capital is a fortress bulit long ago by the first human settlers.Now its the home of the the city's leader.His name is simply "The Lord"
South of the Capital is a beautiful city called Cys (Pronounsed Sees) a city exculsively for Elves.The city has a number of advances itself although it is not fully dominated by the need of machinery.

This is a list of allowed races and species in the RP.
Humans -Humans are the most common race in this world.Although the regular human being has no special qualities,some humans have known to possess masterful capabilities such as martial arts or magic
Vampires/Vampir -Vampires or Vampirs are sub race of human in this world.Although stronger and faster than any regular human,vampires
are looked down upon as a "second class" of human because of their rarity and hunger for blood.There have been some cases where a vampire is apparently allergic to sunlight.But these cases are rare and already have a medicine for it.Laws have been passed that no vampire must kill any human for food.A Vampire is born either by birth or by the standard method(choosing a vitcim and biting him or her).
Shapeshifters/Ur-Beasts -Shapeshifters or the Ur-Beasts (Yur-s) are a another sub human species.Like the vampires they are looked down upon because of thier rarity.These individuals have the ability to change into a specific animal or resemble the animal in a humanlike hybrid.A common Ur-beast hybird is a cobination dog,wolf,birds,tigers and lions. The change into a Ur is purely hereditary.Also Urs are names given to the shapeshifters to sort the different animals who they possess.(Ur-Lion,Ur-Wolf,etc)
Elves-Elves are an older race of this world.They usually considered higher than human standards because of their wisdom,advances with architecture,founding and understanding magic and of course the length of their lives.They have dark or light skin which depends on the parents,can grow from 5 to 7 ft and have longer life spans than any human.They have been known to live for 500 years.They live in a city south of the capital and only leave when they need to conduct business with the humans
Spirits/Ghosts -Not much is known about spirits or how they are made.These mysterious beings are usually souls of the dead or the souls of any living creature in the world (trees,animals,etc).Although they hide themselves from humans contact,some spirits are known to communicate more with elves.Some spirits if powerful enough have the ability to create a temporary body for themselves.
Neo Spirit -A "Neo Spirit" is usually a powerful force that makes its presence known to everyone and everything.They are the souls of things like storms and volcanic activity.
Hybrids of the allowed species are welcome as well ^_^
