Hurrah! I've made it into Jr. Districts. Normally I don't like writing about what happens in my life because I doubt you [the general audience which most likely doesn't exist. PM me to prove you do] care, but I think this is a special occasion.

Jr. Districts is the district music group. I've made it into chorus [My violin is definitely not good enough] quite easily. This is my second year. This year however, we're in the eastern district instead of the north eastern district. I think this oen's much smaller, therefore easier to get into. Me 'n Stephanie both got in this year, so I win our bet! [The bet specifically was on whether or not she could get in.]

I was kinda surprised about how quickly we got the results. Everyone in my school who tried out for chorus was accepted. Unfortunately [though this is still unconfirmed] Stephanie is in a different chorus from me, I think. I think she said I was in the girl's only and she was in mixed. I hope not though, firstly 'coz the only reason I forced her to join [kind of. I made sure she tried out, though I think she wanted to in the first place] was for her to keep me company [it was kind of boring by myself, and the only friend I made last year is too old to join now.] and secondly 'coz mixed choruses are more fun.

Rehearsal's not 'till march and the auditions were only on Saturday, so I suppose I'll find out soon enough. I'll let you [the unnamed audience who probably doesn't care] know once more info is available.
