[Family]: The Kuusho clan is a rather strange clan, consisting of two core families and a series of branches. The branch family, though, is separate from the core, and isn’t considered a true Kuusho. Nearly all of the people in the core families enter into ANBU, and form their own squad. Akane is the second child of the second core family, so after she turns twenty-one, she will enter the side branch. Her brother, who is a year older, entered the ANBU ranks as well, and is being trained to take over the family.
[Backstory]: I was born in the Kuusho clan as the second child, already placing me in the side branch. I was raised in the core branch though, because my father is head of the second core. I didn’t speak until I was four years old, and by then I’d already been deemed a failure. I grew to be only 5’1”, and I advanced quickly through the ranks. I was constantly overshadowed by my successful older brother, Atsuko. I made ANBU ranks though, but I’m only put on minor missions, usually other jonin. As of late, sometimes I get put with a genin team that’s on an A rank mission because of the lack of ninja after the Sound invasion.
[Appearance]: I stand at a small 5’1”, and I’ve been mistaken for a small child. I’m thin and I look almost frail. But if angered, I can throw a hard punch, though that’s extreme. I have dark green eyes and light skin. My dark red hair falls mid-way down my back, and I keep the front pieces tied back, though usually one piece falls over my eyes.
[Personality]: I’m strong and not easily distracted. I don’t easily get my feelings hurt, and rarely will anyone see me in tears. I’m terribly shy though, and I can never talk to people easily. I always look away and shrink down to myself.
[Dreams / Domestic Talents / Hobbies]: I enjoy painting in my free time, and my room in the Kuusho compound is covered in my painting. I have no big ambition like many of the people I know.
[Kekkei Genkai]: N/A
[Nature Element]: Fire
[Abilities]: My taijutsu is one of my weaker points, but I can hold my own in battle. I can name people off who are much better than I in taijutsu. I’m sure part of the reason I’m weak in taijutsu is my slim stature.
Ninjutsu is my next strongest asset. I use my nature element, fire, to create a smokescreen to hide myself.
My greatest strength is my genjutsu. I use genjutsu to torture my opponent, and use the smoke around me to hide the handseals.
[Specialty Weapons]: The standard issue katana given to all ANBU, and small blades I keep hidden on my person.
[Other]: I’m afraid of storms. Don’t ask.
