well, maybe not that far...
I had nifty cool dreams last night. They shifted and changed as dreams do but the bit i liked is positively comic book.
a bunch of kids (four to start with) tap the magic inside of them... originally they do so by calling a word and pressing their hand against a stick or some other vessel as if they were wearing a ring...
the first to try was fire (14, boy), then water (16, girl) the 3rd (me in the dream- 7, girl) got ice... but it was a toss up between the feel of ice and warm, broad feeling, like a valley full of swaying wheat. (turned out the kid was a double talent with the ability to manipulate ice OR be an earth healer or both.) There is a bed ridden princess (power of light) and her guard (power of defense) There is also a power of dark, of healing, of dance, of earth, of air, of wings and so on. The stick or object the power is first released into is merely a temporary vessel. it's the first stage release... sort of an apprentice trick... the princess explains everything to them from a distance as her guard is weakening and the darkness barer is trying to get to her... she has no choice but to turn to those who a receptive.
then the dream diverted to less fun stuff, going to school, having a bunch of girls I really didn't give toss about trying to tease me and me giving them hell in return... that sort of thing... teasing only works if u care about it. razz

I got lots of plans for today... lots of people to ring and things to do... better get cracking huh. ^_^
