The Aftermath of the Story:
Tobias has now developed a taste for blood, and deep depression since the death of his beloved "mother." And feels that he should redeem her name, and make her proud of him - by eliminating anyone who had ever gotten in her way, or said anything wrong about her.
Johanna, being a woman and hence having motherly instincts, must cover Tobias's tracks behind Anthony's back, until she realizes something must be done about the pile of rotting corpses down in the burner room. So, she disposes them the only way she can think of. Pies.
Anthony, lovesick for his dear Johanna, is blissfully unaware of how clingy Tobias is becoming to Johanna, and has death brought upon him the moment he utters foully of Mrs.Lovett. Tobias hides the body at the bottom of the stairs, blaming the death that he had fallen and brutally hurt himself...
