I was so happy back then.....
Maybe....one day...I will be...with you..
I rememeber it like it was yesterday, I was only 5 years old back then. before I met Ryusaki and before My family was killed. I had a best friend...he was My best friend...we did everything together, we where even in the same young begininers class.....He was my best friend, untill we went our seperate ways becuase we each wanted to be different things..I mean..we both wanted to work in the forces, but we wanted to have different jobs..I miss those times...
"Mom, I am going out to play!." I called from my door running out my father's quaters.
I looked back the the quarters were me and my family lived. I loved living there. It was me, My mother, father and my older brother. My brother was already in the advanced training class to be a hunter. I giggles and laughed as i ran, I looked up ahead and smiled seeing My best friend. he was standing there alittle up my head. My tail wagged happily and My ears were on aleart, I want to him and hugged him tight.
"Missed ya" I said smiling hapily huging him tight
"Missed ya too Kyia!!!" he said happily.

He looked at me and smiled, I smiled back happily, I couldnt help but blush alittle bit. I didnt know it but back then I liked him too...well It was a crush becuase i was too young to understand love. I snapped out of the day dreaming and turning to my friend, I noticed I was still clinging to my friend. We both blushed and looked at eachother laughting. He toke of running ahead up to a tree on a hill, I smiled and looked at him and run after fallowing him. we stopped on the hill and looked out. You could see alot of the Base from up here, I watched everything as the seekers were in training going on the first mission, the hunters preapreing to go into the main city. We both turned our heads and saw the Alpha Omegas, and the current General of the whole force was sitting ontop of the roof top looking down. The Alpha omega was also talking to his son who was my age. We turned our heads to eachother and smiled.
"Say...when we become what we are training to be...will we still be best friends? or..would we have to leave this all behind, and not even be friends anymore?" I asked looking at my friend.
"I promise we will always be friends...and when we are older we wont have the time to hang out as often, but I promise we will always be friends" He said smiling at me.

I smiled and wagged my tail happily and huged him happily. He hugged me back and we both smiled. The sunw as now starting to set and we both had to go home. We walked back to my house and smiled. My brother was outside, he had a sword in his hand, I gussed he had passed his class and was now a hunter. I smiled and loked at my friend, sighing alittle. I was alittle worried about the future. I didnt want to lose my best friend. I turned to him and then looked at my house.
"Come on kyiona, Dinner is ready." My older brother called
"Coming!" I called and looked at my best friend.
"Have a good night, Seeya tommorow in class!" My friend said looking at me.

I smiled and nodding turning to walk inside, when suddenly I felt my friend walk up behind me and tapped me in on the back. I stopped and turned around looking at him. Our eyes met and I smiled, Suddenly a golden pendant was placed around my neck, I looked at it and smiled.
"Whats this for?" I asked looking at him
"As a promise that we will always be friends." he said smiling.

I walked inside and smiled, walking to my room to get cleaned for dinner. I walked to my window and waved to my friend as he walked away. I smiled and sighed. I was so lucky to have a great friend like him.....
Today I still have that pendant, I dont were it around My neck anymore becuase we hardly talk much anymore. I mean we do still see eachother but, I sighed and smiled alittle. I am still luckly to have those childhood memories. I will never forget them at all.
