ok so i was listening to Does Anybody Hear Her, Love Them Like Jesus, and Stainedglass Masquerade by Casting Crowns today and i realized how much i relate to the songs so i wanted to write out my feelings and this is what i got.......

Fighting Chance
current mood: awed

She opens her eyes,
To darkness and pain,
As she lays there scared,
Termbling and petrified,

The rain pours down,
Trying to wash it all away,
But the darknees and pain just cling closer,
Drawing her into their deepths,

Mocking her,
Restraining her,
Choking her,

She's slowly losing her will,
Crushing under the pressure,
Giving up and giving in,

Can anyone save her?
Will anyone try?
Does anyone care?

Then He shows up,
Bringing love, light, and hope,
Along with Him,
He reaches out,

He gives her a fighting chance,
With Him by her side,
She becomes the angel she once was,

He carries her back to the Kingdom of Life,
She thanks Him,

Time passes,
He becomes forgotten,
She doesn't remember He's there,
She doesn't relize He is the one carrying her,

Trials hit her hard and fast,
Once again she stumbles to her knees,
Looking up she see's him smiling,
He's been there all this time.
