I don't get you people ;_; Topic Made on the Latest Swear Filtration (Optional feature) http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8952573 Its not enforced on the entirity of GAIA Online...though you guys treat it like it is. ;_; Its an optional function that the admins came up with the please the other half of GAIA Online who does like like seeing swears. The part of whom are under-age and those that are not under-age, but hates seeing swears. Yeah Freedom Of Speech its your opinion, sure the admins said they won't input this function...but did they input it?? Yes and No. Yes they gave an OPTION to the USER to FILTER out swears. No they did not ENFORCE it on the ENTIRE site. bah... ~_~ I was with old GAIA and I've seen it grow from....loving and caring to..bash the hell out of GAIA cause its not to MY liking. ;___; I'm speaking as a USER cause I AM A DAMN USER! and a Moderator second...I'm stepping down as a Moderator but I still as hell still love the decisions GAIA has made to this site.

	If you ask me, I think the Administratoin has been pretty spot on despite user cmoplaints. They've done a lot to take user comments into consideration and to premote equal opportunity among Gaians, so they get a gold star in my book. I'm beginning to see the folly of extended feedback. I think some comments are useful, but there are too many people there who think they know how to run Gaia better than the admins. Meaning: I think I trust the administration to make improvements, not someone else.

	It just saddens me that they had to break a promise to do this. And that the filter hardly works XD

	Nothing is perfect, you know that. It's not like they put the filtration on the site...if it was enforced onto the entire site then I can understand you guys. But since it's not enforced on the entire site O_o I don't see the point of you guys complaining ;___; They are also here to cater to the needs of other users. Old Users wants this site to be Swear haven. While a few new users wants the filter system. They can't answer to everyone..instead of enforcing the entire thing on the site...they did a "User Control" feature which the User can control the filtering on the site. Not dissapointing the other crying They are trying their best and as a user...I'm glad they did this instead of the entire site being swear free. Remember, this site has parents with childern here and they too have a voice in the growth of GAIA Online.

	Not everything is lost, people that want live entretainment may avoid the forums with the incomming features (those who spam and are mean just because they have nothing better to do).

	I didn't notice the feature, but it sounds like a good idea, regardless of how it works. And Arwen does have a good point.

	I actually like the feature. No more complaining about cursing! 'Cause if they don't like it, they can turn on their filter. =3
