BlueMoonDestiny's Journal (yeah i know, real catchy)
Mostly this journal of mine will probably contain most of my thoughts. What I think about things, people.... just stuff
Preview of chappie 2 of a book with an unknown title
Stanton decided to stop watching her and help, watching her was as much torture as Victoria flirting shamelessly with him, except he knew that Lilith didn’t realize how beautiful she really was, she didn’t realize how much he really wanted her rather than her sister. He bent down and opened the other gym bag that was lying on the floor next to the backpack, it seemed to be filled Lilith’s clothes so he swiftly zipped it back up and went on to the backpack. Inside were a couple more textbooks, Lilith’s class schedule, and the general information she needed to know about NYU, plus what seemed like a load of art supplies. Lilith didn’t seem to be watching as Stanton opened her sketchbook up, inside were drawings like Stanton had never seen. Depressing yet some part of it called to his soul, some desperation that seemed without the perfection of a mask hiding it. Raw and crude, yet gentle and tired. These were the original copies, but inside the backpack was a folder that contained the finalized drawings, which were also originals (in a sense), but Stanton had seen one of these before. Copied and no longer containing the sense it needed that kept it apart from any other painting.
There was something weird about these drawings though -if they were Lilith’s- why was the signature in the corner a flourish of the name: Muse? Was it just an ordinary screen-name? Or was there a story there?
“Don’t look at those!” Lilith said harshly, breaking Stanton out of his reverie.
“And why shouldn’t I?” Stanton asked innocently, “They’re good.”
“That doesn’t give you a reason!” Lilith snapped, she was not more than a foot in front of him, and Stanton loved the way that fire sparkled, hidden in her eyes.
“Would this?” Stanton said coming closer to her.
“What?” she asked, her face contorting itself from anger to confusion then into fear.
“There’s no reason to fear me,” Stanton stated softly as he put the drawings down, wrapping his long arms around Lilith’s slender body and kissing her without another sound.

-----------------------

Lilith’s vision swam as she closed her eyes in a silent surrender. She was pretty sure her brain was having some kind of malfunction because all she could really think about was the taste of Stanton’s lips, the feel of his arms around her, and the way his heat collided with hers. Stanton pulled her closer, his kisses coming quicker, more urgent, more passionate, reminding Lilith of her past, reminding her of how wrong this was. She gained a bit more control over her mind and pushed Stanton away abruptly, jumping up and running out the door, out of the dorm room, and out into the street, sprinting towards the park where she would regain her thoughts as she hid in the darkness of the shadows. It was dangerous out here, but she didn’t care, just as much as she was unaware of the fact she was crying. She needed to breathe, to fly, to let go of the cautions she had been warned of.
Lilith slid to a stop in front of a bench that was half-covered in shadow and took a seat. Her lips felt swollen from Stanton’s kisses, and she couldn’t seem to get the taste of his lips out of her mind. The flavors of quicksilver and steel mixed within the taste of the wind and the freedom of it all, giving her wings to fly in an imaginary plane of a fantasy universe; different from anything she had ever experienced yet somehow the same, somehow familiar.
“David,” she croaked out, as her tears choked themselves out in racking sobs, “Mom.” The memories of her past swept over her, strangling her as they crawled out of the box she had stowed them in, the illusion of the box even more fake than the reality of the fact she hadn’t forgotten a single thing, but rather memorized them in exact detail. These details had haunted her every day of her life since they had happened and never ceased to stop, especially if she was trapped within her dream state, edging out from inside the darkness that clouded her mind and giving her more reason to fear the world and fear herself along with.
Lilith covered her mouth with her hand, stifling the sobs until they ended and she had calmed herself down enough to go back to the dorm. Her best friend, Alvina Marie Haworth would be here tomorrow to drop off Lilith’s laptop and her guitar, both of which Lilith had let Alvina borrow over the summer. Alvina was the wife of Lilith’s older brother Pierce, and was about two years younger than him. Pierce was 27 years old and worked as a big-shot editor for some publishing company. Though a few mistakes he had made in the past –ones that Lilith didn’t like to mention- Chad Haworth had never forgiven him and in a way, disowned him to the point where Lilith and Victoria weren’t allowed to speak his name and manage to not get grounded for about three months, though grounded was not the correct term, where ‘house-arrest’ would be. Lilith got up from the bench and walked slowly back to the dorm. If she saw Stanton again, she’d just pretend like nothing happened, and maybe, just maybe if she tried hard enough, she’d never get her heart broken again. Even though it had never healed from her first run in with misfortune and doubt.

Um... I'm not really sure you got it quite right but... Ok... (The kiss I mean) I guess I would have to read more before this to know what the characters are like. It's a good story excerpt though.
